Whats gonna be the general opinion of Sven Goran Eriksson?
I presume the press will respond with aiming all the praise at the players themselves and not for Svens contribution as far as I know the press try not to contradict themselves and will avoid giving him his credit if it's rightly due.
I will not be jumping on the Eriksson bandwagon thats driven by the media and will only critisise the manager if it's due and we fail to be successfull at the World Cup.
Selections have left me sceptical but who are we to critisise b4 a balls even been kicked?
His reasons given for excluding what we thought would be deffo squad players was BLATANT and BRAVE, they simply are not good enough to play in a World Cup, therefore I believe he's looked long and hard at what he's got available and not just made his selections on whim and therefore Im with him all the way until proven otherwise and I suggest the Media should be backing him and the players to go all the way.
Who knows Svens name could and hopefully will be alongside that of Sir Alf Ramsey as the men who led our teams to the great prize #smoke#

I'd love England to win the World Cup and I'm as passionate as any English fan but statements like 'When England win the WC' and the media's hype put way too much pressure on the players and it always ends in tears.

Too much pressure on Internationals The pressure should be on them to WIN the WC and maybe then we won't get shabby results in the group games, expectancy to win is one of our worse dangers to ourselves, we always raise the bar against quality teams and seem to struggle against the lesser knowns. The team we have is good enough to win the World Cup and therefore we must have the belief and with that belief you have confidence and when your confident your in control of your ability and can maximise it to it's full potential, there should be no doubts in any of the players minds that we can win it. AND NO EXCUSES #rock#

Of course you’ve got to be optimistic and have high hopes. What’s the point going into things with your head to the floor, giving yourself negative thoughts? That’s ridiculous. And what annoys me more than anything (and no offence intended) is Scottish people banging on about how ‘they don’t care if Scotland are crap at football, as long as England do shit’ and they’re always moaning about how they don’t want us to win the World Cup, as we will be going on about it for as long as we did the first time. Well excuse me. LEAVE US THE FUCK ALONE. For a Nation that doesn’t like us (and I’m sure the feeling is mutual) they sure don’t half bang on at us.

And Citeh fans "Don't care how we do, were never gonna win it anyway, as long as we beat United" Negativity creates more Negativity Positive thinking is the way forward, When Rooney was running up to hit that Volley against Newcastle do you reckon he was thinkin Im gonna hit this and it's gonna scream into the top corner? Or was he thinking fcuk this could go anywhere
