From Sky Sports:
"Van Nistelrooy is a great player and I know he is fired up to finish as the top scorer in the World Cup, which may be his last because he is nearly 30," Vidic commented.
"It's difficult to advise anyone how to contain one of the best finishers in the game but what I can say is that nothing short of air-tight marking will do.
"The lads will have to work hard to live up to their reputation as van Nistelrooy is not the only menace they will have to deal with."
Vidic was part of 'The Fabulous Four' defensive line for Serbia, which only conceded one goal in their ten qualifying games.
But his sending off in the team's final qualifier against Bosnia earned him a one-match ban and he is clearly frustrated to miss out on such a crucial game.
"It's getting more difficult to come to terms with it as the match draws closer," Vidic continued.
"The only thing I can do is hope my absence doesn't undermine our defensive strength."

I was looking forward to RUUD vs. VIDA.
It's an injustice to the talents of Ruud that this maybe his first and last World Cup.
