Cannot stand some of the commentators, especially Motson and that screecher on BBC. Legend that is Big Ron commentates on UK tv's coverage.

The commentary on the English speaking station here in the US was pretty bad...they mentioned that Becks is married to Posh as if it happened yesterday. Now I know they want to try and make the matches interesting to those who aren't familiar with the sport but the constant cross referencing to American sports got a bit tired..."yes Bret, the slide tackle is very similar to a baseball slide".  The Spanish language station is much much better so I've been tuning into that one. |
