The goal rush I predicted never came and Brazil looked comfortable to hit Croatia on the break. Croatia looked bright as an attacking force after the break and it seemed they could possibly get a surprise draw. Olic, a substitute, tested Dida on one occasion and Dado Prso went close twice but unfortunately for Croatia the goal never came.
Following England's 1-0 victory over South American side Paraguay, the English media went mad and stated that England were not going to win the World Cup. Hold on a second, Brazil were no better than us, yet do you think the Brazilian media will write off their team?...I don't think so!
