Here is what I think:
IF (and it's a biggie if) we quit playing the pathetic long ball and keep the ball on the ground, I don't see why we can't go all the way to the Final. But, it will certainly be a bumpy ride.
SECOND ROUND
Ecuador v Sweden
Argentina v Mexico
ENGLAND v Germany (Oh dear)
Portugal v Holland
Italy v Australia
South Korea v Saudi Arabia
Brazil v Ghana
Spain v France.
QUARTER FINALS
Ecuador v Argentina
Italy v South Korea
ENGLAND v Holland (Oh dear, dear!)
Brazil v Spain
SEMI FINALS
Argentina v Italy
ENGLAND v Brazil (Oh dear, dear, dear)
FINAL
Argentina v ENGLAND (Oh dear, dear, dear, dear!)
Seriously, if we get to the Final, it will be so fantastic. Has any team in a World Cup ever had to endure a tougher route to the final than what we could have? First Germany, then Holland, then Brazil and finally Argentina. It cannot get more difficult than this. But, nothing is impossible. COME ON ENGLAND! #boxing#
