Just watching an interview on BBC 1 with Sven. This man is such a cock.
Lineker asked him does he have any regrets about not taking another striker. He says no. Lineker then says that with hindsight, taking an injured Rooney, and Owen who had hardly played since Christmas, with just another two strikers, was a mistake, no? Sven said no again, that he didnt regret it. Then Lineker said clearly Sven didnt feel that Walcott was ready for international football, otherwise he would have been played in the group stages. Sven replies saying he DOES think Walcott is ready, but his plans had to change after Owen got injured (so bring on Walcott in his place if you think he's ready!)
This man is such an idiot. He makes me cringe just hearing him. To say that he doesnt regret not bringing more players just shows how stubborn he is. The whole country knows he was wrong, and he'd probably get a lot more respect if he was honest...instead of just trying to feed us bullshit.
