Interesting note on radio yesterday before Beckham scored: last time he scored with a free kick was against Liechenstein in 2003. Admittedly this would ignore goals like the one against Paraguay, but it's none too good a record. Hope it's not three years before the next  |

I love it when Becks is critisised cos his reaction is in his performances and he ALWAYS proves he's the real deal. Yeah, Beckham has delivered this tournament. He played his part in the goal versus Paraguay and when the pressure was on delivered for Crouch against T&T and his stunning freekick versus Ecuador. When will the media pick up on Lampard's woeful performances?

Rooney told Beckham this week in training that Beckham was crap at freekicks now.... thats why after he scored Becks was pointing at Rooney  |
