The Hunt for Red October. Seen it a few times but is still a good film with Sean Connery. The book is just as good.

Watching '50 Golden Years of Sport on BBC Two'. Quiet enjoying it as it's going back to the Black & White era of sport. Match of the Day in black & white? Lol. Good watching snooker and Cliff Thorburn, 'The Grinder' scoring the first televised 147 break on TV, 1983. Then the 1981 Test series against the Aussies at Headingley when (Sir) Ian Botham ripped them apart with the help of Bob Willis. Onto Rugby Union now and one of my favourite players of all time, welshman Gareth Edwards. Just showed ' On 27 January 1973, seven men combined to create the most famous, and some say the greatest, score in rugby history, during the Barbarians' 23-11 victory over the All Blacks. Phil Bennett, JPR Williams, John Pullin, John Dawes, Tom David, Derek Quinnell and Gareth Edwards. It was a 7 man try going back from the Baa Baa's backline and started off by Phil Bennett. Edwards finished the move off, yet too think his favourite sport was fishing, he prefered that than rugby.

The good old days when players were players and not marketing machines I remember Beefy blowing away the Aussies very well - took a sickie because of a 33 vodka binge the night before and was cheered up when he did the impossible \0/ If it happened now people would say the game was bent

Recorded this last night on my TV box and watching now. Steven Seagal 'Under Siege 2: Dark Territory' (1995). Not as good as the first one (Under Siege) but still watchable.

There's not many good comedies about, which is a shame. Saying that, Big Bang seems to have gotten better after a 2 season dip, IMO.
