Started watching Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Only caught it a couple of times, but loved it so far. Love that kind of political humour. He did a bit about the sponsors getting shot of Blatter and promising to drink a Bud Light Lime (obviously a bloody horrible drink) if they did. So he's put this on twitter now: Champagne...  |

Watching an oldie on Netflix, Escape from Alcatraz (1979). I prefer Clint Eastwood in westerns but this will do early morning.

Watching The Two Ronnies Sketchbook on channel gold. Bloody hell this is an old one. Shame that Ronnie Barker passed away. That was the end of a golden era of the Two Ronnies.

Forgot all about this thread. Just watching the early morning news but last night they showed a Tom Hanks movie, Big (1988). A younger looking Hanks but had a good laugh, good film.

Watching a replay of the Argentina v Paraguay semi in the Copa on Premier Sport channel. Lovely watching Di Maria scoring 2 and Rojo 1. This takes my mind off waiting on Woody too sign some fucking player of some sort. Role on when the EPL season starts, or hearing Woody or LVG signing some fucker before the season kicks off.

Watching Wild Scotland (Ser1 Ep2) - Islands of the Hebrides, I love shows like this. The only island I have been too in Scotland is the isle of bute with the wife and our son and daughter when they were wee nippers many moons ago. Beautiful scenery and wildlife and we went to a beach in a small inlet at Crigmore where the waters run out into the Firth of Clyde. The inlet was surrounded with mountains and forests and the sand was not rich like I have seen in Australia but just nice but the water was bloody freezing and that was in Summertime. The only beaches I have seen across here in the UK where the sand was just nice and not cluttered with rocks or whatnot was around Cornwall, St Ives and St Just and a few beaches in Scotland and the isle of bute. Another episode is on again tonight at 1900hrs, will be watching that NG WILD HD channel.
