No offence but I bloody hate Carlton (don't mind the beer though). When it comes to AFL it has to be the old Yellow and Black! Crows? Tigerland!

BOOO. A Richmond man lol. Carlton's getting slaughtered now, final quarter Carlton 57-126 GWS. I remember Richmond in the old days with the great Royce Heart. Just curious daz, when I was in the old TR site years ago (2006/10) there was a guy in there called Dizza the Aussie, he was a Richmond man, was that you? That's the final hooter gone. Carlton will get the wooden spoon this year, that will make you happy daz, 57-135.

Got the same surname as me and just signed for Richmond when I needed to choose a team. Shame he's so fucked up now

Oh well. I seen some great matches out there Carlton v Richmond in the 60's and early 70's. Royce Heart was a pain in the arse for a Carlton supporter, great player though. Also your 'Captain Blood' Jack Dyer (1931-1949) was a great player but never seen him play. A rough & tough guy in his time. Been watching some Only Fools and Horses, the earlier episodes with old granddad in them. This one has just finished "Friday the 14th", pissed myself laughing as Del, Rodney & Granddad going to do some fishing (poaching for salmon) and meet an axe murderer who had escaped from a mental hospital.

The adventures of Baron Munchausen.
Decent enough movie I suppose. I used to really like it when I was a kid, but I don't think my kids like it as much as I did. It hasn't aged particularly well. Not Gilliams finest work.

Not Gilliams finest work. I take it you mean the 1988 remake buddy from the first one 1943. The 1943 one was Hungarian but got a 7.2/10 on IMDb. I cant remember if the 1943 film was dubbed or not but I enjoyed it being a comedy, adventure, fantasy. The 1988 version also got a 7.2/10 on IMDb, I don't remember seeing that one? But it's weird because my two kids when they were young seemed too like the older version of films like that from remake's. 1988 Film (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096764/)
1943 Film(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0036191/)

The '88 version. I don't think I've seen the original.
I was reminded of the movie because the original was mentioned in a documentary about Hitler that I watched a few days ago. Germans were encouraged to go to the cinema during the war to keep moral up, and Baron Munchausen was the most popular movie of that era.
I try to watch movies I enjoyed as a kid with my boys whenever I can, it gives them an insight into who I was and gives us something else to bond over. I don't think they were overly impressed this time, though.

Now the grandson's are gone home, chilling out with a cup of coffee and watching The Great Escape (1963).

Too late for a run to the offy? Can't be bothered going up the offy for a bottle or two. Knackered after keeping a 20 month old grandson happy since yesterday afternoon up until around 2 ish this afternoon. Sore head, sore bollocks from toy bricks and what not bouncing off me and taking him for a stroll up the local park. I will be having a sup tomorrow night though I can assure you of that. Watching a film now called Big Ass Spider (2013). Reading the write up on IMDb I might just not be bothered watching it. Never seen this one before?

That Big Ass Spider film has been flushed down the loo. I can remember it and it's shite so I switched over and now watching Braveheart with Mel Gibson (1995), that will do me.

Watching a blank tv screen but listening to Classic FM-Aled Jones. The reason being wee Kaiden (grandson) was rubbing his eyes and yawning. The wife knew what to do next, pick him up and give him a warm drink, a cuddle and switched over from TIDDLER TV and put one of the music channels on. He is now in the 'Land of Nod' tucked up in bed. That should be him asleep for a couple of hours. These mothers know all the tricks of the trade when it comes to toddlers. A trick my daughter also uses. When he wakes the wife will give him his eats and then around 2 ish I will have the honour of putting him in his buggy and head off to meet the daughter who will have finished her work. I love being retired, beats a hard day at work.
