People who have seen GoT, is more closer to LOTR in episode form or not? That's how I've heard it described, if is like that I'll force myself into it. Tried watching the first episode but couldn't get into it for the life of me

I love GoT, and I'm not really a fan of fantasy. You should definitely persevere. It's fuck all like LOTR, though. Not even similar.
