Watching Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino then followed by Clint again in the western Unforgiven. I love good old Clint, especially westerns he acts/directs in, Unforgiven being one of them.

The end bit in Unforgiven is awesome. Riding into town and throwing the whisky bottle away, rain, thunder & lightning, passing the body in an upright wooden coffin of his dead pal Ned Logan (Morgan Freeman). Then walking into the saloon with shotgun and facing sheriff "Little" Bill Dogett (Gene Hackman) and the scenes that followed. Brilliant.

The parents of the kids I teach had a whip round and got me a £50 Amazon voucher for Christmas. After a few days of thinking I went and used it to buy the complete Michael Palin Travels DVDs. Love Palin. Over 20 DVDs. Will give me hours and hours of pleasure. Bloody jealous of the places he's been though.
