This Bas Michi I have is a beast. Come from my youth. Tom Jones is a future right winger for me and I have Colin Scott who will be up front soon. You won't know em as they're regens. I've done what SE's doing. Knowledge level is at something like 60%, even though it's not much use to me.
I'm in 2010/11 with United with no players bought in (2007). Rooney got 60 odd goals last year, Carrick had over a 8.7 for an average rating, I won the league by March at Anfield (second time I've won it there). The team I'm currently using:
van der Sar (now 40!) and still going strong. Neville (this season he is declining rapidly, whereas last season he was just the same ability-wise, but still my best RB) Evra is my LB. Vidic and Pique as CBs. Rio's been relegated to the bench, which happened the last couple of games in the previous season. Park's on the right wing with Ronaldo on the left. Carrick, the playmaker in the middle with Fletcher, who's making way for Gibson soon. Tom Jones, after his loan spell, will possibly replace Park. Up front, I had Rossi and Rooney, with Saha and Bas Michi fighting for the bench (Michi is just a better player now, so mostly him).

Thing is, is that you'll get different players to mine in the game. Since we have the best youth system and training ways in the game, it provides the best youth, amongst others.

Hmmm... I don't really pay attention to him, but he is a fairly good indicator of things like that. Still prefer my own judgement. Or you could just us FM Genie Scout (Google it) and see the full potential of your players. Only software add on I use for FM, as I thought it's better to know beforehand the kinda players I have, since I'm not doing your usual game.

Looks good. I'll download it tonight and see what happens. Gotta download the latest FM patch first though.

Very true. But CQ is advising always to get rid of who's eligible for contracts He turned down my new contract so Rene Meulensteen is my no.2 and he's doing a good job. Im back into the game now. Last season I came 3rd in the league after it went down to the last day, won the F.A cup and the Champions league. Got to the semis of the league cup too. This season im 2nd, got Rangers in the 2nd round of the Champions league and Stoke in the 5th round of the F.A cup. My team is Foster Neville Vidic Rio Evra Hargreaves Anderson Nani Ronaldo Rooney Tevez Its the 09/10 season

Season after I won the treble!! Woo hoo.
Trying to buy Richards from City now. Had to sell Vidic cos he said he has acheived all he can at United and wanted a new challenge. I also turned down the Brazil job. Couldn't be doing with that as it always ruins your game.

for anyone on here who plays fm: hi everybody, i haven't been on here in a long time as my laptop broke and my computer's just way too old to support fm. luckily, however, i'm just about to get a new computer and was wondering if there are any changes i should be made aware of in fm 08. i will also be looking for a top target man for my man utd team. i want someone who is quick, skillful, able to link up play, head the ball, and, of course, score. i normally base my decisions on what i see in real life but as yet, no striker has really stood out and struck me. i know i had my ideas earlier in the season but anelka has since left for chelsea and i won't be using him as that has just ruined the respect i had for him. i know i had another striker in mind but i seem to have forgotten his name so i would be grateful if you could re-jig my memory. i will also be looking for a left-footed left winger so i would be very grateful for any suggestions as to them. erm...a better defensive midfielder would be good. i don't like hargreaves the way he is performing at the moment but carrick is perfectly fine. i just want someone who can tackle and do what he does. yaya toure pops into mind but i have other barcelona players in mind and getting him as well would seem slightly unrealistic as well as ruining the game as and when i meet them in the european championship or whatever. maybe a young left-back to replace evra when he's gone and also a young right-back. i have my eye on brown to replace nev but he's not exactly in his youth so...i appreciate that people do not like unnecessary posts in this forum but i couldn't really find what i was looking for in the search and posting it in the club forum would have just got it lost due to the length of the post so i have decided to open a new discussion. apologies beforehand if people see this as more forum clutter but please, suggestions if there are any. i have opened a new discussion as i see it as the ideal way to get more suggestions. sorry if the post seems a bit wierd but it was meant for another forum, only the computer was being gay and wouldn't let me post on that particular forum.

Has anyone noticed how overrated Liverpool is? Obviously a (deluded) fan doing the research...
I've almost finished my first season on 2008. My team is the obvious in a 4-4-2 formation. VDS is solid, Kuszczak too and Foster has just returned from injury. All my defenders are solid, but Brown has been amazing, first played right-back when Neville was injured but now stepped in for Vidic who got a 2 month injury and scored 5 goals! In central midfield Anderson has been outstanding at the start of the season when he got a 3 month injury. Hargreaves scored 12 goals already, most from long-shots or free-kicks. Carrick and Scholes are OK. As someone mentioned before Ronaldo is a monster if you set his creative freedom to max. Giggs is good but can't finish, Park the same. Nani started slowly but was on fire a couple of games. Up front Rooney misses almost everything but still got around 30 goals in 40 matches. I'm disappointed with Tevez as he didn't get too many goals but still has a pretty high rating. Saha gets quite a few injuries but scores loads. I also bought Mika Ääritalo for 250k and he scores loads and asists even more. I won the league with quite a few matches to spare. Am in the semi-finals of the CL and drawn Arsenal. Also won the Carling Cup and will play the FA Cup final soon.
