I didnt see a thread for it, so I was wondering if anyone here had one and could reccomend what I need to buy with it. I now have to wii, with wii sports and a wiimote!
I am going to Stockport today to get whatever I need, a few games, another wiimote, a nunchuck (do I need 2?), and I aaint sure if I need a charging station or what games are good to get.
I am currently going for Wii PLay, with free wiimote, Mario and SOnic at the Olympics, its my lil brothers wii so we may be getting Cooking Mama.
Any suggestions?

If you want to have two people boxing(in Wii Sport) you'd need two nun chucks. Which I recommend, because boxing on Wii is the best! And also a great way to relieve some stress. #boxing#

Zelda is pretty good and fun, Fifa 08 is unimpressive I really didn't like it that much. Definitely get a 2nd nunchuck, Theresonly1United was right Wii boxing against another person is extremely fun.

The Wii fad has worn thin with me now, but anyways, games…
Wii Sports never seems to get tiresome, a few mates around, some beers, and you’ll soon realise how competitive it can get; bowling is a favourite of mine, especially when you play with your own made Wii character. We have [we being me and my two house mates] two Nintendo Wiis, ones chipped, ones not. You definitely need more than one Nun chuck, a lot of games don’t need it, but a lot do, and if you intend to box on Wii Sports or fight to the death on Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, you’ll need two.
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is an alright game, the whole point and shoot brings you back to the arcade days of The House of the Dead, and although it’s meant to tie lose ends up of previous Resident Evil games, the story becomes rather boring and repetitive, you’ll find yourself just wanting to shoot more things. The levels aren’t very long either. Whilst on the subject of Resident Evil; Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition is good. It’s the same as the PS2 version, but with the he control functionality of the Wii Remote is makes it that bit more exciting to play [if you run out of ammo, shake your nun chuck, you slash your knife]. I’m not a fan of Dragon Ball Z, but the guys were pretty addicted to it, the amount of moves, combos, special attacks you can do is unreal. The Godfather is like any of the other Godfather games, work your way up to the don status, etc, I wasted countless hours on it as it was the only game we had at the time. Don’t waste your money on it. Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is fun; doing your special moves like they do on screen takes some getting used to though, but once you master it it’s fun. There’s also two little side games, Konquest, which is story mode, and Motor Kombat, which is a racing game. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is alright at best, you need to have time and patience to get in to it though, a lot of the time you find yourself wondering around clueless in what to do. It’s definitely not the best of the series. SSX Blur is a good one. Takes a lot of practice to do the moves though, but once you’ve mastered them you’ll have fun racking your score points up getting big air etc. Excite Truck is alright too, something different, crazy racing game. [you turn the Wii remote sideways and use it like a steering wheel]
Stay clear of the Sonic games [at the Olympics an exception] Medal of Honour, Heatseeker, Call of Duty, Red Steel, and The Simpson’s Game. Garbage they are.
As it’s for your little brother, Cooking Mama will be alright, it gets very repetitive; you find yourself making the same recopies over and over, the cook offs are irritating too, especially when the Wii remote doesn’t register your movement. I can’t see him playing it for long before having enough. Super Paper Mario I think he’d like, the use of not only Mario but Princess, Luigi and Bowser is a nice touch switching back and fourth from 2d to 3d worlds, each with their own ability. I hope he likes reading mind. As it’s one hell of a story. The amount of reading in it is ridiculous; it outweighs the game play tremendously.
Super Mario Galaxy would be the one game I’d recommend out of them all; fantastic game. It’s very colourful, lots of in-depth planets/levels to explore, a heap of stars to collect, with extra stars for time trail. Having a chipped Wii, we download our own games, so have the benefit of playing games weeks before they come out here. And SMG was one of them. It didn’t win more game of the year awards than any other 2007 release for nothing.
Also, look out for Harvest Moon: Tree of Peace and Mario Kart Wii.

I didn't think COD4 was out on Wii, just COD3? Yeah there isn't a CoD 4 for the Wii yet, I dunno if there will be. I really don't know much about the Wii other than I had one reserved and ended up selling my spot in line for $400 so I didn't even bother getting the system. My friend got it and sold it after a month, it just got old. I prefer the hardcore games that appear on 360 and PS3.

I've was looking for one weeks before Christmas last year but no luck, it will at least until the end of January before we they get any new ones. When they do I defenitley plan on purchasing one.
