I've just finished reading the book: The Busby Babes: Men of Magic. The Author is Max Arthur.
The book gives an indept analysis of all The Busby Babes. Some contain records of the players including Apps andGoals scored by the players. The layout of the book is of an intoduction from the Author with a very moving piece of how he felt about the players and the club. Also with a Foreword from Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Matt Busby from 1983, they describe the club and players briefly but fittingly. Following this are small paragraph's from Manchester United Supporters on how they felt when they had found out about the Disaster. Again very moving.
Each chapter in the book is of a different Babe with a vivid description of their lives and their short career's which were taken away from them. From previous records, films and writings along with his own personnal experience gives a very detailed account of each Babe's life.
The book also contains a few people's interviews of how they felt about the Men of Magic. These people include Bobby Robson, Nat Lofthouse, and Norman Williams (avid supporter).
Overall, this is a great read by any Manchester United Supporter and a great read in general. The book also contains black and white photo's of the Babes in their prime. I adored this book and it moved me deeply. Highly recommend it.
