Yeah, that band with Jamey Jasta and Kirk Weindstein.
As with most collaborations with guys in well respected bands, the debut was hotly anticipated. And for the most part, doesn't disappoint. There Jasta's obvious Hardcore influence, the monumental breakdown in Free the Fallen is testament of that, however, there's an urgency in this album which was lacking from all bar one Hatebreed album, Satisfaction...
Kirk, being the stalwart of the Southern drenched Sabbath type metal keeps the album packed with riffs, not instantly memorable, and some blazing solos, which add a third dimension.
Both men shar vocal duties, but it's Jasta's Anselmoesque croon that is the stronger.
All in all, cracking album, arguably equals Down's last offering. Also, hopefully Jasta's all metalled out and goes and makes a proper moshy Hardcore album with Hatebreed, as Supremacy totally blew!

Love this album, even though i've never really gotten into Hatrebreed in a big way. I still prefer the Down album mind you.
