That was truly epic. Wanted Federer to win but it doesn't even matter anymore. Fucking gladiators!

I adore Djokovic so delighted he won. Like Federer as well but all of the Wimbledon tight-arses have decided they love him more after years of saying he was arrogant. So fuck 'em.
Think they're the two greatest though.

Outstanding match. Wanted Federer to win too but it was such a spectacle that I'm not that bothered.

Its hard not to love Federer, he's easily the best player to watch. At 38 it still took a monumental effort from Novak to beat him, yes he doesn't get the praise he deserves but even when Federer was at his best everyone got fed up seeing him win 3 of the 4 majors every year. Novak is at that point in his career.
It's a historic period for the mens game but other than the clay, grass and hard-courts have very little between them now. I think that's one of the main reasons these guys have cleaned up for so long, there incredibly good but the gulf between the surfaces just isn't there anymore.

Federer is one of the smoothest men alive. oozes class and cool as hell. he plays the game so effortlessly.
Novak is total monster though absolute savage. great respect from them both at the end too.

Britain's greatest sportsman with a tournament victory today despite thinking he'd never play singles competitively again. Some going!

He really is an absolute cunt, isn't he? No. It was complete accident. He whacked a ball behind him in frustration and hit the woman.

Well that opens this right up.
Got to fancy Zherev to win now personally.
Thiem comes into as well, not sure if they are due to meet in the final, but what an opportunity to win your first slam.

Ok, sorry for the quick judgement but he still is a cunt from my point of view. Just look at his whole behaviour and speech regarding the pandemic. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy if you ask me.

Should have hit it harder at the dramatic cunt. Clearly an accident though.

Looks like Federer is done.
3rd knee op in what, 18 months. And this one at 40 years old.
I really can't see him coming back after this, even the greatest has to accept defeat sometimes.
The GOAT is always a tough one to judge, but for me it's Fed, regardless of many grand slams others end up with. I've never seen anyone has talented with a racket as him in my life, his peak was just on another level to anyone else.

What a story young Emma Raducanu is. Had to qualify for the US Open, ranked 150 in the world, and into the semi's without dropping a set. She's already: - the first qualifier to reach the last four at Flushing Meadows
- the fourth female qualifier to reach any Grand Slam semi-final
- the first British woman to reach a US Open semi-final since Jo Durie in 1983
- the youngest British woman to reach a Grand Slam semi-final for 46 years
She was ranked 360 only 3 months ago!
