I'm personally delighted! 'Colly' is the perfect mould of a one day cricketer in my opinion, a good batsman, solid bowler, and awesome in the field. The obvious (and right!) choice.
Your thoughts?

Me too. Im glad it was him. Nobody else fits the bill at the moment. As long as they didn't give it to Andrew 'over rated' Flintoff im happy. I would have liked to see KP get it, but Collingwood was my number 1 choice.

Realistically ginge was the only player suitable for captaincy. All the talk about KP being captain was nothing buy idle dreaming, as an inspirational player hes top notch but as a leader not so and in all honesty I believe that he often plays for himself instead of the team, luckily for him it rarely backfires thus he looks great.
From what Peter moores has done so far has impressed me, hes not been afraid to change the team around and use the logical selection of good county players to replace failing international players (ie Sidebottom). On paper, his team selection seems insipred, a mix of proven ODI players and quality players. Lets just hope Mascheranas, Trott can show their worth in the coming 20/20 and ODI series
