Why do people hate Mayweather? I find him great, absolutely funny and he went a long with the jeers from the fans and gave them some back. I loved it, he was there giving it them back and it was hilarious. I can't wait for the fight, I like both fighters as I have said before and respect both for what they've done. I just love Mayweather though..great boxer and I think he'll do it. I fail to find the humor in someone who just parades himself as obnoxiously as he does. Sports should include respect as well, banter is one thing but he just goes over the top. Ali was also flamboyant but at least there was some wit to his banter, all Mayweather does is act like a buffoon and disrespect people. Him going around throwing money around and braging is annoying which is why I avoid him like the plague. He's certainly a skilled boxer but what he hasn't learned is great boxer don't need to act like a side show clowns and disrespect people to let them know you're serious about winning the bout, it's your record that will psych opponents out not name calling. Good on Hatton for putting him in his place at the press conference without resorting to dancing around the stage and getting in people's faces, and Hatton was actually funny. |

To be fair to Mayweather the United top was quite funny as was the bit where he said "I love Manchester" in that press conference in Manchester where he had been being roundly booed and when he said it there were a few claps and a few boos and most people were just a bit confused. It's all the makings of a classic. |

Ricky Hatton's Brother who also is a boxer is a Utd fan but still supports Ricky and hasn’t disowned him. Most Utd fans i've spoke to or know (Mancunian ones) are supporting Hatton some are even going over there to watch him fight including my brother who is a season ticket holder along with me, after all he's fighting for England and Manchester not City against an arrogant Yank cunt. (no offence to any Americans on here) Anyway isn’t Mayweather one of these plastic tourist Utd fans that you don/t like? |
