I think hatton has a chance mainly because I don't see mayweather hurting hatton. Ricky has got to set a tempo and keep it up for 12 rounds. I agree with Lewis on this one when he says hattons best shot is to end it early. Easier said than done. My brain says Mayweather but I feel on the night Hatton is capable of an upset.

Mayflower has the speed but Hatton has the balls to beat him. Hatton will be getting hit a lot, so as long as his cuts dont open up too quick he will have a good chance. He needs to slow the pretty boy down with some of those body punches. Booked the fight last night ( I hate making sky richer #furious# ).

Hatton needs to try and keep Mayweather restricted in terms of movement around the ring, try and back him into the corners. If he keeps Mayweather in that position he'll win the fight.
But, Mayweather's defence and hand speed will win it for him, I think anyways. It's the most I've been anticipating a fight since the Morales/Barrera bouts and they lived up to the expectation.
Let's hope this does the same and it's a great fight. I don't hate Hatton, I actually respect him a lot it's just my support for Mayweather has been longer.
Morales and Floyd have been my favourites for some time so I want him to win. Also the Pretty Boy is tactically and technically better than Ricky, that leads me to think he has to be the favourite for this.
Ricky though has an incredible chance, he has a lot of heart and can hurt Floyd. This is the biggest fight both will encounter. And, I wouldn't begrudge either fighter the victory.
C'mon Floyd!

Objectively speaking I think Mayweather will probably be too much for Hatton because he's more experienced, but I'm still pulling for Hatton. #boxing#

Best of the Mayweather - Hatton big-fight trash-talk - From EurosportHatton, during his press conference in Manchester. "Thank you all for coming. It's good to be back in Manchester. We've had a long tour, a very tiring tour, but it's great to come back and see my friends, see my family... [turning to Mayweather, sat next to him] Floyd, will you stop touching my ****, you poof." Later, at the same press conference: "I've missed my son, my six-year-old son, for a week, but I probably haven't missed him quite as much as you would probably think because I've had the good fortune to spend the full week with another ******* six-year-old." Mayweather: "Am I worried about Ricky Hatton? That little midget? He's a kid trying to become a superstar. I'm a mega superstar. Please." Hatton, when asked about Mayweather's defensive style: "We all know he likes to run, so I've got two special sparring partners in Carl Lewis and Forest Gump." Hatton, as the pair square-up at a photo-call: "You're not going to kiss me, are you, Floyd?" Mayweather, at an LA press conference: "I wish I was in prison with you, I'd make you my bitch."

Too bad Hatton is a Citeh fan. That always brings him down in my book, but 'm still hoping he can represent Manchester and bring us home a title! Mayweather is quite possible the most cocky fullofhimself athlete I know. We all know who Wazza is routing for.

Isn't Beckham bringing out Hatton's belts this time? Ohhhh, I can't wait. The weigh in is at 10pm tomorrow on Sky Sports News for those of you interested. I'm gonna sleep all day Saturday when I get back from OT, wake up about 2 and get ready for the fight got a fuckin' match on Sunday, kick offs at 10.30..ahhh meee bollocks! The excitement is building big time now. Watching some of the views from in and around the MGM Grand, people who were going to the fight, Brits saying Hattons gonna knock him out in round four. Fuckin' hell, they've paid all that money to go to the fight you'd think they'd know something, eh? Hatton though has been quoted in the press as saying he's looking at fighting The Golden Boy De La Hoya at Wembley next, I think he should really be focussing on this fight and not thinking about his next opponent. THE PRETTY BOY TO WIN!

I don't think he should fight the golden boy, I think he should retire especially if he beats Mayflower and go out on a high, if he does he'll have nothing to prove and nearing 30 with the way he fights he's well off out of the fight game.
I really can't remember being this excited about a bout for such a long time. Two completely different personalities both in the ring and out. In the ring I think Floyd will have the edge. Hatton has questioned Floyd's power but you should watch some of his fights, and also take a look at his record boasting 24 ko's. On the other hand this is his toughest opponent yet, I don't think Mayfucker is tking him lightly (he's a pro) but I don't think he quite believes that Hatton is the real deal and he is.
Say what you like about Maywether out of the ring, but he makes the fight interesting. He is the perfect bad guy.

He's great for a laugh too but if you've seen when he's serious in his interviews he seems like a sound guy. He said to the press today that we all want entertainment and that's what he's giving the public, he's a boxer and an entertainer and the boxing world has always got characters like him. Cocky cunts, who you either love or hate. The José Mourinho of the boxing world, except I hate Mourinho and love Mayweather. 80,000 at Wembley, England. The Golden Boy vs. The Hitman. They've said it'll go ahead regardless of the result in this fight so it'll be an ideal money spinner for Ricky to retire. As for the fight coming up, Mayweather's hand speed added to Ricky's tendancy to cut really easy will be the deciding factor in the fight imo.

I actually want Hatton to win. I dont follow boxing that much, but honestly since Hatton is a Mancunian and has a truly MASSIVE fan following here, despite his support for Citeh I would still want him to beat Mayweather...I know a couple of my mates (also United fans) want Hatton to win the bout and are counting on me to get some live streams for the game C'mon Ricky !!! #boxing#
