Vidic won't be back for the Arsenal game.

Judging by the way Arsenal and Chelsea have played this season, if they had played Boro today and gone behind 2-1, heads would have dropped and they would have conceded defeat, just not their day. We're completely different. We fight to the end. That's why we're top. That's why they're below us. Avram may be feeling more confident now, but he's wasting his time really. No doubt the ABU's will say it's two points dropped, but in all seriousness, it is one point gained. Glory Glory Man United#unitedbanner#

Weird match. It's a bad result but not completely unexpected. We didn't really deserve to win, hard tackling or not. Giggs can't play every week. In fact, he should only play in Europe, the pace of the PL is too much for him. O'Shea is a good left-back, right-back, midfielder, goalkeeper, even striker, but he's not a center-back. I expect Pique to partner Ferdinand in our next game, or at least Brown with Hargreaves, Sheasy or Neville on the right.
And what's up with Ferdinand? If we lose him for a longer period I think it's safe to say we don't stand a chance in the CL and are going to struggle to win the PL. Strong defense is key for our tactics as it allows the other players to move further forward and we're screwed without it.

I dont think it was a very bad performance from the team today, but it was the worst of the season from Rio before he got injured. To me, Rio looks just like someone he has lost his girlfriend LOL. He was missing Vidic so badly, it seems like he cant carry on living without Vidic LOL. Now it's the time to admit it, Vidic is the better out of the two. Vidic wouldnt be that troubled without Rio. Maybe actually, Vidic is actually the husband while Rio is the wife LOLOLOL. Rooney.. just hope he can improve his finishing, while Tevez, he just didnt performed today. I was dissappointed to see that neither Park nor Anderson was brought in at half time, SAF should have done that, everybody else can see that. We needed somebody who can run like a terrier up front today, which was supposed to be Tevez but its just not his day today. Just glad we escaped the lose. But the bigger problem here is, how about the coming matches without the husband? And now maybe without the wife too.. Pique certainly has reached the level needed, let him play, I dont worry too much. When else anyway? And he certainly looked comfortable without Rio. Maybe a case of juniors cant perform well with the seniors because he feels different pressure? Anyway, the premiership is still very much in our hands. You talking shite.....Rio the wife.....utter bollocks. ....WTF eh? United will cope with this I'm sure. should Rio be out then Wes and Pique will take the centre spots gary Neville can go right back. Should still be easily good enough. We have the attack to beat Le arse, the chavs and Roma....have no fear

I've said it before, I'll say it again.
Giggs should be taken out back and shot.
Good to see Fergie give him a right bollocking after Park played him through brilliantly with a chested pass.

That was frustrating viewing today; the bloody snow cost us! This was always going to be a tough game; and it certainly turned out that way. Great that Alves chose this game to open his account. Anyhow, I view this as a point gained taking into account some disappointing performances (Giggs, Carrick, Tevez), the elements, losing Rio, and 'Boro themselves hacking us to bits in thuggish fashion. How did Boateng and O'Neil stay on the pitch?! Thanks goodness we have a 2-0 lead against the Romans, as I cannot see Rio making the return at OT next week. In fact, I think it unlikely that he will figure against the Arse either. However, we do have Brown, Pique, and O'Shea to fill the gaps left by Rio and Vida. I also expect Hargreaves, Neville, and Silvestre to figure at full-back in the next few games. I am sensing a bit of deja vu here with the injuries; fortunately we have a stronger squad than last year, because I think we are going to need all the players to do their bit for the cause.

Can people please stop being so disrespectful toward Giggsy? If you think he had a bad game, fair enough. But some of the words used to slag him off in this thread have been disgusting, and from the same people who will call him a legend in a different thread. Fickle fans! He wasn't great today, but nor was Tevez, or Oshea.
And Klauq, Vidic is the husband Rio is the wife. Seriously FUCK OFF. You obviously know fuck all about football or Man Utd.

This is stating the bleeding obvious but We have to win next week against the Arse. A draw isn't good enough as Chelsea will beat Wigan no problem. This is still in our hands but We have no margin for error any more. Teams roll over and die for Chelsea like that disgrace from Citeh yesterday, and play like it's the Cup final against Utd. But everyone knew this would be the case. Always was, always will be.

I FUCKING HATE Chelsea! If they win the league it would be a disgrace. They play shite football, all they do is score an early goal and then kill the game. I HATE HATE FUCKING HATE them! I can't believe they're still in the race, like a nugget that won't flush!

dont really know what to say about that game, boro were well organised and that goon southgate must of drilled it into them that they need to kick us up in the air to disrupt our game. The more they do it, the more fustrated we get and that showed today. Supatrice> i know that giggs is a legend and will be remembered untill OLD Trafford has fallen down but he is the one that i'd single out with the worst performance today, it's even more apparent when you see what fergie was saying to him after the Park chest. There was also another incident when he was by the 6yard line and tried to pass it to scholes but the pass was a yard too wide. I'm in no way giving him the level of abuse that other's in this thread are and i hope he has a better game next time but he must be wondering if he will fit into the plans next season with emerging tallent like Nani.

Bollocks. At 1-0 up, I thought were going to be cruising to an easy victory. Fair play to Boro though, playing attacking football is not something most clubs in their position would do. We missed Vida and if we lose Rio we are in trouble. They are both essential to the way we play.
The title race has unfortunately gotten a lot closer after today, but it is still in our bloody hands!

Hmm, like most people's reaction I'm not sure what to make of the result. Thought Tevez wasn't great and Giggs looked like he's lost all energy. They will come through in the remaining games.
I guess i'm thankfully for the draw... Typically Boro/Alves turn it on as we're in town!
Read through the comments to try and find some encouragement - didn't happen really. Massive concern with Rio of course. Let's pray it's minor - rest him against Roma and hopefully he'll be fit for Sunday.
I'm confident we've done enough to field: O'Shea/Neville - Pique - Wes - Evra against Roma.
We'll have to wait and see what the back 4 will look like against the La Ar*e - but we've got to be confident at home. The Gunners are losing steam - especially if they go out Tuesday.
Come on lads - we're going to do it. Still a lot of football to be played, but we've got the depth. And we're really 4 points clear with the goal difference.
Utd!

I was singing the Rossobianchi today, although I kept fucking up or stuttering on the words. Not a lot of us were singing it, but it's understandable. Should be ready Blackburn away. Fantastic chant, especially if you understand the content.
Boro support was shite and the 'WHO ARE YA' was pathetic (WHAT THE FUCKING HELL WAS THAT!)
