in my local cosco yesterday........in enfield way (near tottenham)
well who was there signing books of his autobiography???
west ham and spurs and england legend......only one of two people to score ina world cup final for england......
MR Martin Peters!!!!!!
not in waterstones or WH Smiths,,,,,but a Cosco cash and carry!!!!
have you seen someone quite famous (and i mean real famous
footballers) in unexpected places?

See most the United players in The Circle club in town, Rooney, Becks see em all out in town. And others, Ali Bernabia, Silvestre, Francis Jeffers (With Rooney at the time) Abel Xavia the big LION looking thing and many others in my local cosco yesterday........in enfield way (near tottenham) well who was there signing books of his autobiography??? west ham and spurs and england legend......only one of two people to score ina world cup final for england...... I've seen United players out in town on a night or during the day, or in the Trafford Centre, but I guess that's not really an unexpected place.
I saw our Sir Bobby in an M&S food place a couple of weeks ago checking out the chicken breasts. Does that count? lol.

red seven the coscos near walthamstow?  near the dog tracks by any chance??? teddy sheringham is everywhere i just expect to see him when i go out get a bit bored saw him in waitrose and les ferdinand is at loads of tournaments hackney marshes and that, great day at 5 a side i scored a classic goal running back and ferdinand patted me on the back and said'great goal son' love it love it love it love it love it! |

lol, yes that would be the one......
i had hans segers...the spurs goalkeeping coach some of you may remeber him when he played,,,,he said i was a very bright young goalkeeper, and if i kept my head down and worked hard i would get a trial with a club......im now a football referee!!!!! lol
i once saw teddy sheringham in a cafe having a fry up
saw raimond van der gouw in an italian restaurant...this was when he was with west ham
now the next one i will mention means nothing to english fans....but i was in eindhoven watching holland v belarus,,,,,,,walking around in the afternoon before the game...i popped into a sports shop...(eindhoven-very industrial....very shit, dont reccomend it for a short break!) wel the old bloke in there who was doing kick ups with me was the owner...his name Fons Van Wissen...captained PSV Eindhoven and is a legend in their eyes,.,,,,and was voted in a nationwide poll to be in holloands greatest ever team!!!! not bad i say!

I once seen David Beckham in a pertrol station. After a game at OT, i went to my cousins house and chilled for a while. We headed off home later than usual and stopped off for some petrol as my dad was pumping his gas Becks' pulled up next to us. I got a pic and autograph. Was quite shocked like  |

Saw John O'Shea in a chinese restaurant in china town in manchester after we thrashed looneypool 4-0 in 2003. That was quite funny cos we were having dinner with some mates one of whom was a looneypool fan and she really wanted to go over and kick him we almost had to physically stop her!

I'm not sure if any of you know of Alexi Lalas but he used to be a player for the US national team. I saw him at a night club in NYC about 12 years ago and we were talking about footy for a while, nice guy.

saw the whole united team (95 i think) at my local golf and leisure club getting ready to tee off. they were all taking the piss our of Schmeichel because he forgot his clubs. his reply- to go in the pro shop and buy a full new set, about 4 grands worth!
Also saw OLE one sunday lunchtime in the members bar with his wife and kids, that was a mega shock. saw him again same place the next week. turns out he had been going there every sunday for months
