Just got back from the match. The atsmosphere was fucking brilliant ;D
Frustrating game really. We didn't show up in the first half again, but we deserved at least the point. Shame Rooney couldn't have finish the 1 on 1. Shame we weren't given the penalty. The ref was a fucking nonce today.
Still, we've got breathing room on Chelsea, just not as much as we should have.

First half was shocking, we really let ourselves down first half but second half we showed championship qualities that will see us through. Nani turned the match, his introduction gave blackburns defence alot to worry about and it would of been even better if the stupid FA hadn't gave that match to a joke of a referee by the name of rob styles. It was dissappointing to see him get a game of this magnitude after the season he has had. We should of had 2 penalties.
I think we have seen giggs for the final season I would be surprised if he plays any part next season, totally ineffective first half, no penetration and once again his passing was woeful. I hope tevez and nani start in barcelona especially nani because he deserves to more than anything.

Thank fuck!
Was at work while the match was on, i checked the net on my phone at 7pm and the score was 1-0 so i assumed that was the final score, till i got in. ;D
blackburn can be a tough nut to crack, this 1 point could be vital, Tevez is the new solskjaer in his knack of scoring late, important goals.

Scary first half especially with a close title race and Barcelona on Wednesday, I thought we would have come out with more. Fair play to Blackburn though, they showed up to play and Friedel had a great game. I was getting really frustrated at how stubborn the ball was to get in the back of the net when we were pretty much camped out in Blackburn's box, but fortunately Tevez converted. Shame about the penalty as well because there was no denying it was a hand ball. It's still in our hands so we have to make sure we keep it that way, Chelsea and West Ham are going to be really tough matches.

Lol, watched the game till the 70th minute, then had to leave as I had a final. Wasn't looking really promising at that time. So I'm quite thankful we managed to at least get a point from this match. From what I've read and seen, looks like Friedel had another blinder against us, the cnut, and that the ref wasn't particularly good too. Shame that we lost two points today, but seeing how it could have gone, I'm quite relieved in the end. I hope this showed all the others how the title race is far from over, just needed a couple of more minutes and it could have ended very differently for us. Hopefully we can get a result at SB. That way we virtually guarantee the title and break their 400 year unbeaten old record. But we've got a small task before that, and that's going to Catalonia ..

CARLITOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! TEVEZ IS A FUCKING LEGEND! And side note, the bullshit trash talk about him & the dummy on here isn't on. That little Argentinian saved our ASS today... yet AGAIN! A bit more respect for the man who's become the crucial goal score king for us this season. fuckin ell people. We've got to take it to Chelski now - I feel like we play to the level of our opposition and never a smidge more. That should mean we turn it out with Chelsk. Need VDS back tho.. and Roon fit. It's gonna be a tough one but I feel strongly our lads want it badly enough to keep the trophy where it belongs

just a draw with Chelsea would be ok. Obviously a win would be great but a draw would realistically need us to take three points out of the last 2 games. Our goal difference will proudly annnounce it's superiority in that instance.

so many people have said it before in reference to the giggs/scholes start, the later i dont mind but relly giggs should be coming of the bench and not starting, once again i dont think its entirely his fault as defenders and teams in general can read him better and at his age he wont perform week in week out. we needed to hit blackburn hard in the first half get two goals at least them rest some for the braca game, truth is we are three points ahead but chelsea have momentum, they are too hungry and will really come hard next weekend, wigan did us a favour and we did not capitalise, its a huge shame. ref may not have done his job but in the first half the players didnt and that is not kool. lets now hope utd beat barca and by at least two goals.

Another poor performance; make that the third in a row. They seriously need to get their act together now otherwise we'll be dumped out of Europe by Barca and dropping further points in the remaining league games. It's a good job we had the cushion to throw away because we have.
Shouldn't downplay the importance of Tevez' goal- for me it has saved our season from self-inflicted ruin: keeping us on course to win something.
Also that should finally see the end of Giggs starting games this season. This season he has been piss poor in most of the games he has played.

We absolutely battered them in the second half. Friedel had his game of the season, as he always does against United, and we were unlucky not to get the three points. We were poor first half, but another day, we would have scored 3 or 4 goals, aside from the pens we should have had.
