vs Ok guys, this is now a very crucial game after the Chavs won last night; a win or draw would certainly put us in a strong position going into the Chavski game next week. Some of the players, such as Carrick and Scholes, looked a bit jaded last week. To say the least we have some huge games over the next 10 days! I am not liking the fact that the Chavs effectively get an extra 2 days rest/preparation; we travel back from Barca on Thursday morning for a lunchtime kick-off at Moscow on Saturday - nice one FA/SKY. Anyhow, I expect to see another strong line-up against Blackburn. VDS Brown - Rio - Vida - Silvestre Park - Hargo - Anderson - Ronaldo Rooney - Tevez This game may well be a goal fest - so i'll go for a nervy 3-2 to United.

I would be happy with a 1-0 or 2-1 win. Ronaldo and/or Rooney to score and Santa Cruz to peg one back if he can.

The back four has to stay the same between now and the end of the season, at least until the title is safe. I'd like to see either Carrick or Scholes in the middle too. Blackburn will let us have plenty of the ball and try to catch us on the break, so we need a midfielder that can unlock them.

A lot of people look on this fixture like they did on Middlesbrough, like they are one of our bogey teams, but i don't really think thats the case. I hope we go and kill the game off early so we can maybe rest a couple of players for midweek, or just come out of this one with no injuries, coz everyone knows how physical Blackburn like to play. Hopefully Hughsey has a word with em and tells them to go a little softer on us, lol...
anyway, 2-0 or 3-1 i thinks.

1-0 with Ronaldo scoring.
VDS Brown-Rio-Pique-Evra Ronaldo-Anderson-Carrick-Giggs Tevez-Rooney
Even if Vidics fit i wouldn't risk him because we will need him more for the Barca and Chelsea games especially because Piques looked good.

I imagine the confidence will be high with all the recent contract signings, I hope the news about Hargreaves' injury aren't true!

Its going to be a tight game. 2-0 should end the game well in United's favor.

I imagine the confidence will be high with all the recent contract signings I was thinking the same thing, the contract announcements will give Rio, Carrick and Brown a bit of a boost. Our confidence is high after beating Arsenal last week and i think we'll shade this game 1-0 or 2-1. Don't get me wrong, this is going to be one tough encounter. Sparky will have them motivated, i think people are banging on a bit too much about Blackburn and less about us. Yes, Blackburn will make life difficult, but i think we've got enough firepower to win this.

"FYI : in 4 last game, Goal Agregat between United and Rovers is 7-0" Last season I remember us winning 4-1, 1-0 down, 4 second half goals from us. But I agree with 2-0, though. Rooney and Nani (is he fit? If he isnt then Tevez) Can see a good atmosphere today, what with Scarves etc, hopefully a few chants of 'Your father is your brother...' Tight game, 1-0 all the way, until a late Nani/Tevez goal puts our hearts at rest!!! VDS BROWN RIO PIQUE EVRA NANI/RONALDO PARK/GIGGS ANDERSON CARRICK ROONEY TEVEZ DONT SLIP UP HERE LADS, LETS KILL THOSE 6-TOED INBRED TWATS (no offence meant to anyone from Blackburn ;D)

This won't be an easy one. We have only won once at Ewood park since Blackburn came back up to the Premiership so it could be a tough one for us. Confidence is high with the league in touching difference, but a defeat could really mess us up and I hope we don't go into it thinking its already won. I don't want us to go to Chelsea just 2 points clear. I am not confident in that with the chavs excellent home record. A draw at Blackburn wouldn't be too bad with our excellent goal difference, but being level on points with 2 games to go doesn't fill me with confidence.
Having said that, no side have been top at this stage in the Premiership since it began and fucked it up. We are looking good (minus the first half against Arsenal last week) and Blackburn are not in the best form and the intertoto cup may be beyond them. My team:
EVDS Brown Rio Vidic Evra Ronaldo Carrick Scholes Nani Tevez Rooney
Scholes has a good record against Blackburn which is why I would play him and Carrick can unlock the Blackburn defence with his passing ability. Im a bit unsure over Nani and Vidic starting since they have just come back from injury, but team news is pointing towards a Vidic return and I think with Ronaldo and Nani on the wings, they can just take the piss out of Blackburn. Im going for a 2-0 win for us with Scholes and Rooney bagging.

again everyone is confident just like against middlesbrough... any win will do but 1-0 or 2-1 looks realistic to me. kill the game fast, fast few goals and finish the game
