For the life in me I cannot understand how fans can leave before the final whistle?!
The guy sat next to me ALWAYS leaves about 5 mins before the end! Even on Saturday before the lap of Honour, i really don't see how anyone can do this, especially knowing how many goals United score in the dying moments of a game!
This season fans have missed Ronnie's goal against Sporting, Carricks against City, they have missed the final moments of the Barca game where just 1 Barca goal would see us out.
It would be interesting to see what people's excuses are for this (getting to my car before anyone else is not an excuse).
It's just a shame to see Old Trafford half empty for the final 5 mins.

Just saw on the BBC's site that Utd have scored 17 times in the last ten minutes in the league, more than any other team. Which makes leaving early all the more difficult to understand.

Its complete and utter madness. Even if they want to avoid traffic etc. You're gonna get that anyway!!

i absolutly cant handle people that leave early, especially when their team is loosing. you either stay loyal or fuck off. i see this so many times in other sports, such as the nrl in australia. i can not handle it. these are the true glory hunters

Old question. Getting on my nerves. Same old answer. STAY THERE AND APPLAUD THE FUCKING TEAMS! If you want to leave before the end of the game, JUST TO AVOID traffic, you shouldn't be there in the first place.

i cannot see myself leaving before the final whistle. if other wanna leave before they should simply avoid to go to the game and watch it on tv.

to be honest, if i had my way id stay right to the end.
however i dont drive and me dad likes to get away when the 4th official puts his board up. if it is a tight game such as the barcelona game then we will stay till the end. the thing is, in particular champ league games leaving that couple of minutes earlier means getting home to london 2 hours later.
for me dad who leaves for work at 6 o clokc in the moring i can see his point....if we leave after the final whistle we wont get home till 3.30 in the am. if we leave when the board goes up we get home at 1.30ish.
we only go if united are trouncing it though and never anymore than 1 minute before.....it will all change when i get a car though....

I've never left a game early and quite frankly don't believe i ever will - i cant understand those that do; why come to the game when you're going to potentially miss goals at the end? jus doesnt make sense

When I go up I have a 10 hour coach journey back, I don't think leaving 2 minutes early would make any difference Your missing out, It's great cheering the final whistle, clapping the team off seein them applauding the fans. The platform should have more exits though, that does slow things down trying to get out.
