so you think i should lighten up ? Do you know something buddy, by rights you shouldn't even be on this forum. You're 17 years of age and you're certainly posting like a too young teenager. Other ROM members have PM'd me previously about this, the age limit on most forums worldwide is 18, you're a year out mate...you shouldn't even be on here.

Key Battles RIO FERDINAND v DIDIER DROGBAFerdinand has matured into one of the world's best defenders, his pace, anticipation and aerial ability a match for even the great strikers. The lapses that characterised his early career have been all but eradicated, while he appears set to succeed Gary Neville as United captain. But even Ferdinand might struggle to contain Drogba playing to the peak of his powers. Arguably, there is no more complete centre-forward on the planet, as the Ivorian demonstrated in the semi-final victory over Liverpool. The consistency of his finishing has come under scrutiny this season but only because he has dipped slightly below the incredible form of last term. CRISTIANO RONALDO v ASHLEY COLEAlready a Manchester United legend, Ronaldo may yet be talked about in the same breath as Pele and Maradona. A maestro with the ball at his feet and clinical in front of goal, he has been terrorising defenders all season. Worryingly for United's rivals, there is further improvement to come, with the Portugal winger sometimes prone to poor decision-making. Cole is one of the few full-backs who can claim to have had the better of Ronaldo in the past. Indeed, prior to last season, there was no contest in their battles for both club and country, with Cole coming out on top on almost every occasion. Ronaldo has matured since and Cole will need to be at his very best to keep his rival at bay. WAYNE ROONEY v JOHN TERRYRooney marries old-fashioned centre-forward play with the movement, touch and vision of the modern striker. He has proven as much as a talisman for United this season as he is for England. He is gradually losing his reputation for a suspect temperament, channelling his aggression in the right areas. He has also learned how to operate in a lone front man role having burst onto the scene as a deep lying forward. Terry is a real defender's defender. The heart and soul of Chelsea, no-one will be more desperate than him to lift the club game's ultimate prize in Moscow. He leads both by word and deed and should he overcome his elbow injury he will hope his characteristic blood-and-thunder approach will be enough to contain Rooney.

So what do you guys think about Tevez starting? I really hope he'll start but I think Giggs will get the nod ahead of him. He's also said he's very tired which could mean he won't start.

ronaldo...rooney If Tevez doesn't start, I'd stick Ronaldo up top alongside Rooney. Cashley has won his battles against Ronaldo most times they've played against eachother. Let's see how he fairs against Park and let's see how the broken John Terry handles Cristiano racing towards him for 90 minutes. And every time John Terry falls flat on his ass, I shall knock back a beer. Shit, better not, I'd be paraletic before half-time. ;D

Lol mate come on I'm 17, does that rule even exist lol? You guys clearly have different opinions on Carrick so just agree to disagree lol? On topic though, I've gotta agree with Rambling Red Devil. Carrick had a poor start to this season, but since then he's had a fantastic season, and on form I'd say probably our best midfielder. Yes Anderson has been good too, (although I thought he was wank at Stamford Bridge), but no way should Anderson start ahead of Carrick.

Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs is ready to give his all in Wednesday's UEFA Champions League final against Chelsea after admitting he feared he might not be presented with a second opportunity to play in a European showpiece.
Giggs, 34, was part of United's treble-winning side of 1999 as The Red Devils famously recorded a dramatic triumph over Bayern Munich at Camp Nou to lift the European Cup.
But with the former Wales international entering the latter stage of his career, Giggs has conceded he thought his chance of appearing in a second Champions League final had passed him by.
Last chance
"I think when you are 26 you think you are going to be involved in finals again but at 34 you maybe think the chance is slipping away so I'm pleased to get that chance again," Giggs said.
"Certainly I think you appreciate it a lot more - you don't play when you're 25 or 26 thinking it will be your last time but at 33 or 34 you know it will be a last chance.
"You always have that belief that we would get there again and show that winning mentality but overall I'm just happy to be playing in the final.
"I think I will be able to enjoy the experience but of course winning is the important thing.
"I will have many years to reflect on my career when I finish but you have certain things you want to achieve and winning the Champions League again is one of them."
Tight game
On how the encounter might unfold, Giggs added: "I expect the final to be a tight game - because it always is against Chelsea. They get men behind the ball and are good on the counter attack.
"Chelsea are a little bit more Continental in their style of play so maybe if we score first the emphasis might be on them to attack more."

pail scholes will and must start. no one hits the ball like paul. saf will start with him as he put heart and soul into the 99 campaign only to miss the final through being suspended so this is his call in to action to lay his ghost of 99 to rest. united to win 3 - 1 with rooney , tevez and scholes terry to score 4 chelsea
