The Rangers' scummy fans wrecked the screens when they stopped working, so they will no-longer be up for the final against the Rent-Boys

I wasn't planning on watching it on the big screens in town anyway, but that is such a shame for the people who were. Would have been incredible images of a sea of red in town. Disappointing.

UNBELIEVABLE! Those twats. And they're on the news saying the police were attacking them for no reason. I've seen the footage, I have no sympathy fir any of them if they're gunna behave like that.
That really has ruined it for the majority who want to watch the game and can enjoy it without behaving like savage animals.

Surely someone will come in and save the day..... <<cue Rangers FC buying replacements for the ones their yobs damaged>> Its not been cancelled because the screens are broke, the council have bottled it because they don't want similar scenes if it kicks off between United fans and the police (which I dont think it would) Feckin pissed up jocks

Moscow II thread in Match Day. I'll be there But yeah, we had to grab tickets for that after we heard this news, which is upsetting considering tickets for this are fast selling out. Platt's sold out but the Blaize are selling tickets on the door.

I'm sure the big screens weren't working and that's why the Rangers fans went mad. In any case, I don't know why a city the size of Manchester can't just buy some new ones and be ready for the final. I think the Manchester Chief of Police's reason for the cancellation of the big screen was a bit lame. Just because you had trouble with the Rangers fans, why would you have trouble with your own people? There's not gonna be 2 sets of fans there so there's not gonna be that hostile undertone. And there's no reason why people would want to wreck their own city. United fans only want to be there to cheer on their own club and hopefully celebrate a win afterwards.

Three points:
1] The people causing the trouble aren't real Rangers fans, they're those twats who only tur up at The Old Firm and really big games looking to cause trouble. Please do not lump myself and all the other real fans in with these arseholes. 2] Manchester City Council fail to mention in their moaning that accordint to reliable outsider reports, a number of the big screens were not working and therefore hundreds of fans in the middle of Manchester could not watch the match. 3] Apparently, police were very, uh, hasty shall we say, in bringing out the anti-riots gear. It seems there was a little violence that may have been exaggerated by an overly heavy handed approach in dealing with it my Manchester police forces.
Anyway, those points aside, it is a disaster for me and all of us going up to Manchester because we could not get to Moscow for whatever reason. Does this mean that the only places to watch the game will be pubs?
