From The Guardian:
A resolution on Zimbabwe's future membership of the ICC is unlikely to be made until tomorrow at the earliest, with an official for the governing body hinting that no action will be taken. An ICC spokesman at the executive board meeting in Dubai said that no decision had yet been reached and a news conference scheduled for today would not take place. "We cannot comment until the board meeting is finished [on Thursday]," he said.
Although the England and Wales Cricket Board have led attempts to have Zimbabwe suspended, it is thought that a ban from one-day competitions is more likely. "It is difficult for the ICC to remove Zimbabwe," said an unnamed official.
Were Zimbabwe to be barred from limited-over internationals, it would see their participation at next summer's World Twenty20, hosted by England, ruled out.

I cant even say I hope Mugabe dies. If that happened we'd have another martyr on our hands, and it'd just get worse.

Zimbabwe is a nation with a lot of potential, not just for cricket. What their mafia - oops I mean government - is doing to them is simply appalling. Their 'elections' are nationally and internationally condemned as rigged, but nobody has done anything to stop it. The government intimidates and defrauds the people.
Earlier this year, President Robert Mugabe's only real competitor, Morgan Tsvangirai, refused to take part in an Mugabe's "violent, illegitimate sham of an election process" because it was tantamount to saying that previous elections were held failrly and justly, which they have never been. This handed victory to Mugabe in spite of utter corruption.
The Zimbabwean government suppresses freedom of the press and freedom of speech, which is why you will see and hear nothing of corruption or human rights violations on the television, radio or in the newspaper. Their only public broadcaster, the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation, is nothing but a government propaganda tool.
BBC News, Sky News and CNN have all been banned from filming or reporting from Zimbabwe. The only way your media gets anything at all on Zimbabwe is from neighbouring countries, particularly South Africa.
Knowing this, I can't help but care what happens to Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans. For me, it's difficult to decide whether the Zimbabwe cricket team should be boycotted or not. Just because their government is corrupt to the core doesn't mean the people should suffer.

^^ Good point mate. However, we all know that the world's various cricket governing bodies are also riddled with dirty politics. Major rivals will always try to kick a country out of the competition or accuse the other of cheating and foul play and such. They will however rarely show support and sportsmanship. Our sentiments might be placed well, but we know the governing bodies are full of shit!

Then they die and the whole "they were cunts" bit is swept under the rug and they become martyrs. Could you imagine the PR fest if Mugabe was killed. Jesus.
