Has anyone else seen the Dark Knight? and what did they think of it? I just got back from seeing it and I loved every minute it. Heath Ledger should definately get a nod from the Academy Awards, not because he died but because he was thoroughly frightening and crazy and played the character of the Joker amazingly well.

i watched this last night. it was absolutely incredible! i loved every minute of it. everyone in the movie acted brilliantly.
I think Christian Bale is the best batman i've seen, and Heath Ledger was SUPERB as the joker. he was frightening and cruel and made the hair on my neck stand in some bits. and of course morgan freeman, michael caine and gary oldman NEVER fail to disappoint.
the action sequences were immense fun to watch with the cars and all the gizmos and gadgets. overall, a top notch movie. even my mum, who hates action movies, loved every bit of it.
i gave up on the batman movies when the old ones with george clooney and val kilmer came out, but these Christopher Nolan ones are 1st class. i cant wait for the next one!

it doesn't come out here in the uk until the 25th I think but even the promo's of the film look good. I always liked batman but these new movies are going places the other ones couldn't touch.

i really want to see it when it come out here! it looks amazing and getting good reviews already lol. christian bale is a great batman and i love heath ledger so much. cant wait to see it!

Yeah the first one was really good. I missed out seeing it at the Imax when it came out, so I'm definitely seeing the Dark Knight there. Should be brilliant in 3D.

I'm looking forward to this one, and I must say the Christian Bale plays the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne as I had always envisioned it; I can't wait to see Ledger's performance. I thought the first two Batman movies were good but this round looks like it will be even better.

just back from it and I must say the best film I have seen in quite sometime. Ledger as the joker was amazing, the star of the film, he protrayed a dark physcopathic genius as you would imagine one to be. The story was complex and has you hanging on and then throwing you off again. Bale is an excellent batman and the gadgets and bat pod are awesome, I must have one  great film don't miss it. |

I've seen it twice, it's definitely one of the best films I've seen in a very long time. Heath Ledger is absolutely brilliant and understandable when you hear all he did to prepare with the journal and basically making himself become the joker. It is a real shame that he had to die because I don't think there will ever be a better villain than him as joker. Everything about this movie was brilliant and the story is probably the most in depth for a comic book movie I've ever seen, or any movie for that matter.

Just watched it. A very good movie, the 9.4 (at the moment) on IMDb is far too high though.
And Ledger was absolutely perfect as the Joker, who was the best part of the movie.

Brilliant performance by Ledger, he absolutely made the movie. It's The Joker as I always thought he should be portrayed.
