i think cappelo is glad gerrad wasn't able to play. i don't think england would have done as good as they did with gerrad. i would love to see a 4-3-3 formation in the future, like we tried to play in the end of last season. brown - rio - vida - evra carrick - scholes - anderson rooney - berba - tevez it maybe looks a little bit attacking but i think its worth a try. cheers I wouldn't expect Tevez, Rooney and Berba to start together. Very Unlikely. But I hope they do.

Ronaldo is fit too. Journo: What's the injury news for tomorrow? Fergie: Everyone's fit. Journo: Including Ronaldo? Fergie: Yes. Journo: Will he play? Fergie: No! fuckin' funny geezer. Ronaldo is way ahead of his fitness though and may travel tomorrow and play on Wednesday.

No injuries. Berba will play some part. As will Carrick and Hargreaves. Ronaldo is way ahead of schedule too. Could be back this week.

Woo hoo! United vs the dippers! Football is well and truely back!! For some reason, i'm not as tense about this game. Maybe something to do with the fact that Liverpool haven't won/scored against us in years!! Love that shit!! Normally i'd be nervous about it but maybe its because the season has hardly kicked off. I'm much more nervous about the Chelsea game.
I can see us winning this one. Even if Torres and Gerrard play, I can't see much danger since they may not be match fit. Be interesting to see if they both start really as we all know the danger comes from them. I hope that Fergie's comments about Robbie Keane don't fire him up too much, not that i'm worried about him.
Not sure which team he will put out. I'll say.....
EVDS Brown Rio Vidic Evra Carrick Anderson Scholes Rooney Berba Tevez
I'm really confident that WON'T be the team cos I have no idea how Fergie plans on doing this. I hope Anderson starts after his excellent performance against Gerrard last year. Weather all 3 strikers start remains to be seen, but who do you drop? Tevez is our best player so far, Rooney was awesome in midweek and Berba is the new boy. Maybe Berba will start on the bench and maybe Fletcher starts but I would rather not see him in this one.
1-0 United (again) is my prediction.
COME ON LADS!!!!!

love the fact that now we have so many options available and can change things around if needed.
Really hope Anderson plays and would just love it if he could get on the score sheet.
Should be a great game. We have the players to slaughter them. Here's hoping fo 3 points.

Rather he take his time. We've got Berbatov to prove himself too.

The annual 3 points taken from Dumpfield we hope.
Fletcher probably will start, usually does in these games. I'd be surprised if he throws Berbatov straight in, Tevez has started the season well and will be fresh after his break, and Rooney seemed to find confidence and form against Croatia midweek.
