He's just made for this level. I was excited about Greenwood, thought he would be a generational talent . Kobbie has me much more excited. Ravel is the greatest waste of talent we ever had in my opinion. Mainoo has done his chances no harm with this performance.

Anyone got any Kobbie highlights from last night? missed most of the game but saw him get hacked down a couple of times which had me panicking!! He's obviously insanely talented but I think the greatest compliment I can give him is that he can't be rushed. That is uncoachable and therefore invaluable. Busquets used to have that.

His composure is quite amazing at that age but it's a trait all top players have. Part of me hopes he doesn't go to the Euros but at this point, Southgate would be crazy not to take him. He's the best English player in that position at this current time.

An Englishman missing the penalty for Wales. Breathe in the karma. 🥳

Rashford not in the England squad and he can’t have any complaints. If he’s staying at United, a summer off will do him good.

Pickford
Trent Stones Maguire Walker (no LB available)
Bellingham Rice Mainoo
Saka Kane Foden
would also happy for Dunk, Branthwaite or Quansah to replace Maguire

Luke Shaw in. Hmmm. Southgate says he’s a long shot so doubt he’ll go.

Think including Shaw at this stage makes perfect sense as they have absolutely no depth in that position. You’ve got to give him every chance to get fit for it. He’s played Trippier there before, so think that’ll be the fall back option if not.
It’s a fair call on Rashford, but they’re short on that side of the attack too. Grealish hasn’t had a good season either. Could be a great chance for Gordon.

Shaw is usually very good for England and if he can't make it then they can always draft in a replacement.
Even if Mainoo doesn't get much gametime he will benefit from training with better players. And the kid deserves it he's had an incredible season especially when you consider he was primed to start the season and then got injured.
Very pleased that Rashford has been left behind. He needs to stop moaning about the criticism he gets from the fan and the media and perform better. And if he wants a move away (which might be for the best) he has to accept that he is going to have a pay cut because no-one is going to pay him £375k a week.
