many a great fighter has lost and got back to be world champion. Nassem was the same, no defence and totally arrogant, only a good beating but a superior fighter did he wake up, but it was too late, at least Khan has time on his side. All boxers are cocky and totally confident, if you ain't you'll never be any good would you.

I'm gutted for him but thought he needed it because the class of opponent he had before then were piss poor and so he needed a good fight, a good beating even just to learn, get back to basics and quieting down a bit.
He'll be back, he is a talented lad but he needs to take a beating to make him stronger in my opinion, let him know where he's going wrong and that is in his defence - let him work on it, come back and I bet you he'll win his next fight.

The guy's got no defence. He'd already been floored a couple of times before, so fighting someone with 17 KO's in 19 fights was suicide. He's lost his unbeaten record so Warren will be gutted as he won't make as much money from now on, and in my opinion Kahn has got no chance to get to the top of the tree. If you can't take a punch, you can't take a punch. There's not much you can do in training to improve that.

Lesson to be learnt for decent British (Olympic) boxers: . . . do not fuck with COLOMBIANS! And we´ve done a few Irish as well. I will concede Rickeh Hatton did us in last year, but then again, he´s from the great city of Manchester (but then again, he fucking supports Citeh). |
