Series premiered on Sept. 9th in the US, to be premiered in UK (Sky1) on October 6th, and in Australia (Nine Network) on Sept. 17th.
I have to say it is probably the best work in TV by J.J. Abrams so far. Brilliantly shot, edged concept, and subtle clue throughout the episode keep you on the edge.
Pilots storyline: "When an international flight lands at Boston's Logan Airport and there are no signs of life, FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham, a scientist, Walter Bishop, and his son Peter uncover a deadly mystery involving a mysterious plague and a series of unbelievable events."
I am not going to spoil it for you, but I have to say, its going to be one of my must-watch series this Fall.
Love it, absolutely love it!

I read something about this a while ago but had forgotten about it. Not sure how long we are going to have to wait for this to arrive in the UK

I doubt it'll top Lost, but I'll watch it when it's on over here. Looking forward to it.

Looking forward to this. There are posters all over town advertising it.
Loved 'Lost'........ hope this is in the same league.

Thankfully it seems as it's always going to be put on Sky Anytime which is great for me because sunday nights at 9 is me watching Burn Notice (Bruce Campbell, yay!).
So yeah, 2 episodes in.. it reminds me more of the X-Files than Lost. Which isn't a bad thing. Still, I like to make judge a tv show a bit further in.

Unfortunately, I don't get Sky 1 as I'm a Virgin customer (and employee as it happens). I used to enjoy watching Lost and 24, and missed Prison Break.
I downloaded last series of Lost via iTunes.
