United made it two wins out of two as they romped to a 5-0 victory over Huddersfield Town at Storthes Hall.
Paul McGuinness' young charges fired four second half goals after Federico Macheda had opened the scoring four minutes before the break.
As the scoreline suggested the opening period was a closely fought contest with poor finishing letting both sides down.
Buoyed by their one goal advantage, United stepped up the tempo after the restart and doubled their tally four minutes later through Nicky Ajose.
Trialist Lee Askham, an England U17 international currently on the books at Sheffield United, fired home on 59 minutes as United's class began to tell.
Cameron Stewart added the Reds' fourth five minutes after entering the fray as a replacement for Askham, before skipper Matthew James wrapped up proceedings 15 minutes from time.
United: Amos; Strickland, Gill, Brown, Wootton; Askham (Curran 65), James, Norwood, Petrucci; Macheda, Ajose (Stewart 65). Sub not used: Devlin
Macheda's looking good again so far this season.

Impressed with Macheda since he joined last year. Good touch, good finishing, and an ideal size.
