And to think those Huns from Celtic couldnt even beat them I am confident we will not see a repeat of 2006-07 at Parkhead.

Rafael was awesome, hope his injury wasn't that serious. If he keeps on putting that sort of performance, i'd pick him over Brown as our RB. Scholes injury is a big setback. Not too worried as we still have Hargreaves, Fletcher, Anderson, Giggs (make shift) and O'Shea as our options for CM. But we're certainly lacking on the creative department now with Carrick injured as well.
I've got mixed views on Berbatov's performance. Nevertheless, 2 great goals.
Rooney's back in form and hopefully he was taken off as a precaution. It'll be a big blow if he gets seriously injured when he was just about to hit top form.

Great confidence boosting goals for Wazza and Berbatov, Rafael was very impressive again. Giggs was class also. Not an amazing performance but a good one with plenty of positives. Real shame about Scholesy but we will be ok and he will come back just when we need him. Hope Wazza is ok. Ive seen some talking about Berba's lack of celebration and although he is a relatively reserved celebrator unless its a big goal this is the reason why he didnt celebrate his first United goal (generally considered a big goal)
"I did not celebrate the first goal because I was still angry with myself for missing the first chance," he admitted.
"On that occasion, my shot was not right at all, in fact I was embarrassed by it.
"When you pay so much money for someone you should score chances like that.
"I was disappointed with the first one. Sometimes in a game you might only get one opportunity and I was trying to score.
"But I guess the most important thing was that we won."

One thing I really don't get about Berba is that some people won't be happy unless he runs around like an idiot when he doesn't have the ball. From a true centre forward, the work rate that matters is what he does off the ball and in the final third. A work rate like Rooney or Tevez is sometimes a bonus and (as we have seen with Rooney in particular) sometimes a handicap. Even from wingers, tackling back is a bit of a luxury, and Park is the exception not the rule. These are creative players, and they should be focussing on that, not running around like headless chickens. I'm not saying Berba did no wrong - he wasted a few good chances to play through balls, and missed that sitter - but you won't find me criticising him for not sprinting around more. I've published detailed players ratings on my blog, if anyone's interested. i agree in the first 30 minutes of the match i found myself cursing him as to why he didnt get on the ball more come back on defense and such, we are very used to players like rooney and tevez who trott back put more pressure than the ball. hell even saha did it at times. i then realized in truth he was employed to score goals, he was unfurtunate to miss the oppurtunity ronnie created with his hustle, but after he scored his 1st and 2nd i had quite the smile on my face all i could think of was that he reminded me of ruud, those poaching goals. maybe he didnt cover 12000m or however they rate that but he did what he was expected, take oppurtunities and finish them off, if he continues to do that then ill be a very happy man. but yes, he looked like he didnt give two shits.

The lack of tracking back from Ronaldo and Nani down the wings was a worry- there was a bit of arrogance with some of the players. All in all a good performance though.

Just got back from Aalborg yesterday! What a trip. Although Denmark is very expensive. The reds that travelled out there were in great voice and spirits!
On the game. Thought it was a good performance, glad that Berba got off the mark. Rafael was a massive plus, thought Giggs was good in centre mid.
On a slightly off note, bit gutted that the players didnt celebrate with the fans, and at the end of the game Giggs and VDS were the only ones to applaud the fans.
