Excellent performance. Perhaps fortunate that the first goal stood but our play was crisp and flowing and we created lots of genuine chances, something we hadn't been doing so far in the league. On another day it would have been 3,4 or 5. That day won't be long coming.
The pre-season is over.

Great performance, controlled the match, passing was excellent. Anderson and Fletcher was superb at midfield. Blackburn wasn't much of a threat and posed little problems to our defenders. Ronaldo wasn't playing that well but great assist for Rooney to score. Tevez was unfortunate for hitting the post. Berbatov was effective as well, good link ups from him.
Rooney's my MOTM.
We are back in business!

We bossed those pie eating Charlie's big time. That was the most pleasing aspect; what were the possession stats? Must have been 70% United. A very impressive 90 minutes considering the conditions; a 5-0 scoreline would have been justified. No surprise that their keeper was man-of-the-match. Pleased with Anderson's performance; good discipline and control. Ronaldo was a tad rusty. Good day at the office.

Brilliant performance. We absolutely bossed them. The most pleasing aspect was that we had lots of possession and didn't was it. He should have scored at least a couple more. Ronaldo was bit too selfish today. Anderson had a good game as well. We look so much astute defensively when Wes plays, and I think he should be our no 1. Berbatov was good today , he even tracked back. Some his touches and passes were brilliant. Giggs looked good playing through the middle. Rooney , What a finish #drool#
Oh and our away support was fantastic.

Great performance. High tempo, lots of short quick incisive passes and great on the counter exactly what UTD are all about. The only thing that let us down was the finishing. Rooney could have had more, Ronaldo, Flecther and Tevez were all guilty of wasting chances and Berbatov really should have scored, I won't get on his back because I though he was great today, all over the pitch linking up play and actually working hard for the team (someone obviously told him the honeymoon period was over)
Delighted for Wes Brown, he deserves to be first choice and he proved why.
MOTM has to be Rooney, when he plays like that he's untouchable. Involved in everything all over the pitch, and now he's back in the goals, he's frightening!

Me and my girlfriend had a fantastic day at Ewood Park today, loved every single minute of it!! Fantastic support today. It was my first away game and hopefully looking to go to more again this season. I loved it when we all started abusing mcmananananan and he turned round and gaves us the V's, great banter!! I could not even hear the home fans. Brilliant!!

what a performance, by the fans and players! seriously, the best i've heard our fans, so clear in an away game outstanding full marks people.
on the player front, Anderson was my MOTM, did he put a foot wrong? seriously don't think he misplaced a pass, didn't fuck up a tackle, never stopped going, he literally done nothing wrong!
Rooney was awesome aswell, terrific display, what a fucking finish. Berba had some misplaced passes but on the whole just brought his calm presence to the team sometimes which is needed. Ronaldo was rusty but i suppose that should be expected, he still had an assist!
Defence were just awesome, wes brown was solid, vidic is like a rock, rio was calm cool and collected.
VINTAGE UNITED, AWESOME!

Unfortunately I missed the game but just watched highlights. Great performance (feels good to say that properly). It's a hard place to go so the result is fantastic. Oh, and Berbatov finally came out of his shell! more of that please.

Dam work deny me to watch United also today....anyway just saw the higlights on tv and looked like we've been amazing fiding again our best football and our best Rooney. Nice goal from Wes-i can honestly say im happy for him-. What to say about Rooney/Ronaldo the magic still there there's no doubts about it. If we keep playing as we played today i can see us having a good year year but we must BELIEVE it,we don't have to wait a specific occassion to do so,we must do it always

People are saying "great support" and they wasn't even there. It's always like that. I admit though, I was leaving Ewood and was getting calls from people that watched it on TV saying that could hear us, so maybe I'll let this one slide for now.
