It was a fucking mini nuke. What the honest fuck.
The explosion certainly was an interesting shape.

That's insane. People heard it in fucking Cyprus. The shape is definitely noteworthy. There was a chemicals explosion in China some years back, another massive one, it did not have this shape. Official government updates say it was a stockpile of Sodium Nitrate. Now, someone with a chemistry degree will have to educate me on this - how much goddamn sodium nitrate should there have been for an explosion of this magnitude??

2700 tonnes of amonia nitrate that had been stored and forgotten about for 6 years.
Insane shit. Heads will roll for that. Blast could be felt 150 miles away.
Cant imagine what the person holding this camera must have been feeling. My arse would have collapsed. Horrifying.

Well, finally sold my house today with my ex. Felt a bit weird seeing it empty and knowing I will never go in it again. Starting again at my age is pretty fucking scary.

The crazy things you never thought you’d be able to do, you’ll soon be doing. Trust me. Been there. Currently doing that.

I've had an offer on a new house accepted. Its a bit daunting going solo with a new mortgage at 48! I was a lot more care free in my 20s and 30s, now I worry about the what ifs! Nervous but excited too!

I don't see a thread for Trainers. My go to are suede Sambas. However, I did have a brown pair of Adidas Munchen years ago and they were great shoes. Looking on Ebay for them and they range upto £185! What does y'all prefer? Any decent sites to purchase off? MandM is pretty good.

I currently have a couple of pair of La Coste which are quite possible the most comfortable trainers that I have ever used. There is a dude at work that will buy yeezy's and complain he has no money :\

I was happy to say I had never even heard of Yeezy. Googled them. They're fucking shite.
They look like the kind of trainers that only people who say "fam, blud & innit" to each other would wear.
Love Lacoste and Adidas trainers but also have quite a soft spot for Puma. Went retro a little while back and got some Dunlop Green Flash.

That is pretty much accurate.

So after more than 20 months at home, losing my job, a relationship in pieces, losing my best friend when he was only 38 and shortly before becoming a father for the first time, my mom fighting cancer, myself almost dying from a lung embolia, 2 months in a psychiatric clinic, 2 years of therapy and countless more tragedies during those past 2 years. I have started a job on Thursday. Worked for the first time again Thursday and Friday as a barkeeper in a cocktailbar. Last time I worked in service was 15 years ago and I have no experience with cocktails. But the boss trusted me and just let me know that he was very pleased with me and that he wants to keep me and help me out to get my life back on track.
A while ago I told you guys that I was watching the Bayern-barca game with some crazy bayern fans. Well funnily enough, it's that bar. They show all the bayern games as the boss is a die hard Bayern fan. When no football is on, it's a cool 20s style cocktail bar and I have to learn over 150 cocktails.
On top of that I have finally started a new music project after more than 5 years away from it and we finished the first material. My brain is still very fragile and depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts can return at any time. But I am making progress for the first time in ages.
The job in the bar is not what I want to do as I'm still planning for my education and further study (fuck my age, never too old to learn something new). But it means a lot to me as it helps me to get activated again and just that knowledge of feeling useful in life at something really pushes me further forward.
Just wanted to share the first positive news in years with you guys.
