So is the "Giggsy should retire" brigade going to go quiet for a couple of weeks now?

It'll probably last until he misplaces one pass!
4 - 3 United now.
Second time we've conceded three at home!

5 - 3 Carlos Tevez!
Now that's Carlitos hat-trick! Brilliant strike!

Tevez only got 3. His first was a blatant OG, and their third was a push on Neville. And as for Giggs, he was playing in midfield against the only player more past than him, Tugay.

Fantastic performance by the lads tonight, good atmosphere too despite it being the Carling Cup.
Tevez has shown why he deserves more starts but still, I don't expect him to start unless Fergie plays all three on Saturday. I wouldn't drop Berbatov and I can't see Rooney being 'rested'.
Possebon, Anderson, Nani, Giggs and of course, Tevez played very well and despite conceding three goals there wasn't really any bad defending by us tonight.
We had some experienced lads out there tonight but with the amount of youngsters out there you'd expect it to be a difficult game against a Premiership side, it wasn't though. And our youngsters deserve credit for that. Not that you'll hear them getting praised like the Arsenal ones!
Four goals for Carlos, although I hear one may have been an own goal - haven't seen it on the telly, still he's been credited with it by most so I'll say four.
I can see us getting Spurs in the next round paving way for a Premiership v Championship final.

Really nice to see Carlitos scoring 4...the last two were world class goals. I know Nani played well, had a hand in the goals and took his chance really well.....I just can't halp wondering why he hasn't had his own 4 goal type breakout performance.
