i saw the highlights from their semi final match yesterday during our half time. they did seem impressive in the first half, they have a good tempo, but did score due to panucha (or however you spell it) mistake. second half highlights were not much, so i assume they dropped off a fair bit.
however you never know what your gona get with south american teams so should be an interesting match

this world club championship is a real waste of time, we might aswell play Burnley or City there both better than this tripe.

Given that South American teams have done well against European sides I would go calling them "tripe" just yet. I don't see Liga winning because they didn't exactly dominate in their Libertadores run, but they did do well defensively though I don't think they'll be able to handle our attack.

Just play Rafael and we should be fine.
I love Gary Neville but it's come to the point where he's a liablility whenever he plays.

The £30.75million Bulgarian has recovered from a virus, but Sir Alex Ferguson feels his lack of match sharpness will cost him a starting place.
Ferguson is expected to make a few changes from the side that defeated Gamba Osaka on Thursday, with Park Ji-Sung among the definite starters.
Kick-off 10.30am.
United (from): Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Amos, Neville, Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, O'Shea, Evans, Rafael, Ronaldo, Anderson, Giggs, Park, Carrick, Nani, Scholes, Fletcher, Gibson, Berbatov, Rooney, Tevez, Welbeck.
My line up:
VDS
Rafael Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Nani Anderson Scholes Ronaldo
Tevez Rooney
