Semifinal Nandal vs Verdasco. Dear me , what a game . 6 hours and still in the fifth set. Fernando has been absolutely brilliant and I've never seen Nadal work so hard. And just i say so , Nadal is through.
Pity that someone had to lose , what a match. Brilliant tennis over all , some unbelievable winners. The point that Nadal won in the fourth set is out of this world.
And that sets up another Nadal - Federer final.

Should be interesting. I still prefer Federer to Nadal.

I personally didn't see the match, but I saw the highlights on ESPN and dear me that looked like a hell of a match! Real class from Nadal, though. I would like to see him win, but because Federer has the rest, he'll probably win it. It'll be a fun final.

What A Fucking Match. Rafael Nadal produced a display of incredible defiance to beat Roger Federer 7-5 3-6 7-6 (7-3) 3-6 6-2 and win his first Australian Open title. news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tennis/7862452.stmTruly amazing match. Unlucky for Federer but he lost to the Tevez of Tennis. You have to admire Nadal

Nadal's the best thing ever happened to mens tennis after Sampras. Chuffed that he won , I'd always prefer him to Federer

Great final. Didn't get to see all of it but I was blown away by what I saw, fantastic tennis from both players. Glad Nadal won though.

if it wasn't for nadals phyiscal conditioning he wouldn't be beating federer to be honest. It can't be to often you see somone play at that level having played 10 hours of tennis in 48 hours. Nadals mental strength has to be complimented because federer had real momentum coming into that final set but it was Nadal that played the better tennis. I respect Nadal as a tennis player but he isn't as talented as federer, his physical power and conditioning allow him to slog it out on these surfaces, thats how he won wimbeledon last year and the aussie open this year.

he also cried in last yrs aust open ( when he won it )
its the fact that Rod Laver was present that made him cry shows how much respect he has for the greats
