Well , its been blown out of proportion tbh. Its a nice movie but not as good as people make it out to be. Glad that someone made a movie about the slums and shame that no Indian had the balls to do so. Criticism is a bit unnecessary i guess , yes it focuses only on the negatives and poverty of the country but thats a reality and people need accept that.
The music is fantastic , but i believe Rehman has done far better scores that Jai Ho . The kids were magnificent better than the experienced actors like Hairy bear Anil kapoor.

I loved it, seen it twice now. The best scenes are when he's a kid, the younger one, not the middle one but it's still a very good film I think. I didn't really read much of the hype or anything but I like the guy who played Anwar a lot too. And that bird makes it good viewing as well, she's a darling. But yeah, loved the film.

Watched a few films this week, all the terminator films thn went to see Salvation which was pretty cool, but a bit stupid. I saw the Tyson film which was brilliant but probably only if your a fan, I watched the Transibirien express (grat film) and Mirrors. Slumbog was the worst of the lot. I really can't understand all the awards and praise. Really was quite a crap film.

Well , its been blown out of proportion tbh. Its a nice movie but not as good as people make it out to be. I saw it last week and I agree it's only really an average film. Surprised with all the awards it won, I was definetely expecting more from it.
