yeah there should be a boxing/fight thread, use it for boxing and ufc
marquez will take PBF the distance in their fight, but floyd will be far to smart for him, he will box him on the back foot just like he did DLH and will get the same result

I think JMM is a cracking figher, I just think the weight advantage and mayweathers class will shine through! I wouldnt mind a MP vs JMM again, lets face it the other two fights have been close, split decision in Pacmans favour seperates them!
I've seen interviews DLH has done over the past fews, and he is bigging up JMM in a big way, saying that he has caught PBF "at the right time"! Granted he has to back JMM, he is his promoter, but the fact is I think he would be swaying for a Mayweather win, due to the money he could take in worldwide from a Manny/Mayweather bout!
P.S. Anybody read the pieces in MEN site on Hatton. Seems the blame of the Manny defeat is getting laid squarely at the feet of Mayweather snr!

If Hatton listened to Mayweather Snr. maybe the blame could have been put at his feet. I was thinking of a boxing thread on this section of the forum but isn't it better with individual threads for each fight? I'm sure when we've got a boxing thread then someone will make an individual thread about a fight and then the discussion will be split into two threads. Feedback will be great.  |

I would vouch for a Boxing Thread mate! Fair enough the big fights get their own threads, but there are smaller fights or undercard fights that people may want to talk about! i.e. fights from their local gyms etc!

JMM vs Mayweather should be a cracking fight there are plenty coming up by the way! Boxing is by far my favourite sport so am really looking forward to the coming month's!!
Mayweather should have the size and class required to beat JMM and IMO will beat him on point's although I wouldn't rule out a late stoppage!
Can see JMM definately giving him problem's though as he is an excellent little fighter who IMO beat Pacquiao in one of their fight's!
As far as who is the biggest draw etc Mayweather is known to not be the biggest draw in boxing hence him changing his attitude to try and draw in potential fan's etc

A lot of people have that opinion of Pacquiao and Marquez and over the two fights he won more rounds so it's hard to argue, still, Mayweather should beat him and if he doesn't it'll be an upset.

a boxing masterclass the guy made marquez look very easy.
i was impressed sadly for others he can get better.
the sad thing is the treatment mayweather gets the hbo guys lack class, surely they should not have cut him off like that especially as mosley a guy i had respect for came in tactlessly when he should have shown better taste and laid down a challenge behind closed doors.
hopkins is a thug that believes he is smart and y guy that tries hard to come across as smart is an idiot, they lack the class of their fellow business partner de la hoya.
well done floyd, although i feel mosley offers the only threat i still think floyd will beat him 12 rounds like he did marquez.
floyd offers the pure art of boxing but he can scrap if need be, truly talented regardless of personality which i love i truly believe that he deserves more respect and from hbo and that idiot that interviewed him.

Yez - i agree complete lack of class by a normally classy guy in mosley but nothing suprises me about hopkins, you said it hes a thug! I think Hopkins and Del La Hoya have put pressure on mosley to get in the ring and makesure he gets to fight mayweather next, the last thing the top guys at golden boy want is for mayweather to fight one of the top guys at top rank i.e. Pacquaio/cotto. But dont be suprised if its mosley/pbf.
And in regards to Max Kellerman hes a fucking chump! He showed a lack of respect to PBF also

coogie mate i agree with the pac man hype i was caught in the web of that or the bubble should i say but after watching the picasso paint that picture i truly believe that pac man with be hitting air.
what people also dont realise is that floyd has an iron chin to go with that speed and skill.
i was shocked to see marquez so down in the dumps, he had his hands on his hips and was so dejected, he usually adapts to his opponents in the ring but there was no adapting to floyd.
kellerman look so embarassed when floyd said you talk too much, i loved it.
the man would ask a question and not allow a full anwser looking at ways of getting to mayweather.
de la hoya pushed his pawns on the chess board, it was a joke, sick and i hope that mosley gets beat bad bigtime
welldone floyd just keeping shuting them up
