I can believe there isnt a thread here on this (That I can find anyways).
After Freddy bowling another shoddy-line super wide ala' harmison last night and the aussies feasting on a pretty poor bowling attack england look like a team on the decline. Kevin pieterson is possibly still the best cricketer in the world so you never can tell?
I think australia in a close one for this series.

australia only a sunny day away from a first up win. English bowling attack looks a bit flat. The young aussies are doing ok. Havent lost at lords since 1932 or something. Didnt we win there last ashes tour when england where on fire? Dont think its over by a mile yet...the english have a few tricks up their sleeves fer sure.

My prediction is for Monty Panesar to score a test century to clinch the series on the 5th day of the final test

England should quit cricket there kack at it, there getting beat by the worst aussie side in generations. Petersen is a playboy fool and that alcoholic flintoff should of stayed in the bar. Australia probably won't even need a second innings.

Oh well Aussies didnt win They did something similar back in 2005 if i remeber correctly. Hopefully some of our batsman might learn from Colly.

I'm new to this cricket business. Took me about 4 hours the other day to understand the fucking rules, and that was before I realised that you can draw a test. I actually prefer this to the 20/20 thing. You can have your Sunday dinner, nod off, then wake up and update yourself before sleeping again. It's a relative piece of piss watching cricket as opposed to football. Watching Monty bat was like watching a retard. Just cos his average is 5.3 or whatever, it was like we assumed he couldn't bat for shit and had no idea what he was doing. Very amusing.

My prediction is for Monty Panesar to score a test century to clinch the series on the 5th day of the final test MOre like: MOnty on 99 needs one too win series and get ton, spills a drink on glove and strauss sends out psychologist because he is confused tells monty to waste time and austrlaia bowl out last over. Monty python more like. Thats was a shocker. <L>

England did well to get a draw out of what seemed a hopeless situation

Not a cricket follower really but glad it was a draw, makes the game at Lord's a bit more exciting.

Harmison in for flintoff. At best a batsmen down really. Though Harmison did alright in the pre ashes games. He Got hughes out twice and he is hard to shift. Looking forward to more of the same, australia has a great record at Lords.

Pietersen could have done a bit better again. Suppose he's just a maverick, so we have to take it or leave it.
