as long as pogba is here i want to see him play. and i agree with the above: FRED - POGBA - BRUNO. pogba has shown that he CAN be very useful when not being played behind the strikers, he is capable of doing a decent defensive job although sometimes he simply does not. i wouldnt sacrifice brunos magic up top and his unselfishness, because that creates way more chances for our attackers and midfielders compared to pogba just wanting to do everything himself. so have someone like fred/mctominay who does the dirty job behind pogba. but also keep pogba behind bruno, both of them can join together or switch depending on the situation and who has got more space in a particular moment.

As the Pogba situation has reared its head on another thread, I thought I’d put my two cents worth in here.
I’ve never been a big fan, mainly due to his attitude. Sure, we don’t genuinely know what he’s like in the changing room and how he’s perceived by his team-mates, but from an external view, he comes across as a totally self-serving, entitled prima donna. All his social media malarky and the quotes from his despicable agent boil my blood, especially when he then shows no desire on the field and ultimately takes a long sulk with a lengthy sick note.
Since his recent return, there’s no doubting his contribution, nor his growing, exciting partnership with our new midfield maestro. But at what cost? And why now?
The cynic in me says he’s putting himself in the shop window and performing to increase his value, as there’s no doubt that’s dropped (irrespective of Covid) and his suitors seem to have gone cold. Maybe his ego has been dented too, with Bruno getting the plaudits like he probably believes he’s entitled to?
I’m a United fan first, and a player fan second. No player is bigger than the club and, in my opinion, any that tarnishes our reputation by words, action or simply letting another do so (agent), should face sanctions. So here lies the problem.
He’s come back in a manner that improves the team and our chances of success. He apparently wants a new deal to stay, which on current performances would make sense, as the thought of what could be is mouth-watering and he won’t be easy to replace. Any true United fan should be happy with this outcome, except for the dilemma that he’s been a total prick to date! (do leopards change their spots?)
Personally, I only think I could begin to forgive him if he knuckles down and provides consistency, fucks off the agent and entourage, reigns back his stupid social media and basically just gets on with the job. I’m sorry to say I can’t see that happening, so it looks as though, if he stays, I’ll celebrate with everyone else when he brings something positive to a game, but doubt I’ll ever be a Paul Pogba fan.

I don’t know what to make of the Pogba situation to be honest. No one could ever doubt his quality, on his day he’s a phenomenal talent. But it’s never been consistent. I do think he was told all sorts by Ed to get him to rejoin Utd, you can only imagine the list of players we were going to sign. So I have sympathy there. But I watched Robbo play out of his skin week in, week out for equally forgettable Utd teams.
He does seem happier now as the team is developing and the younger players are coming along. In fairness to Ole, we finally look like a Utd team again, albeit with some way to go. And Bruno and himself look like they enjoy playing with each other. I’m not sure I buy the idea that he’s putting himself in the shop window because there’s no market for him this summer. As for the social media stuff, well, old people used to give out about rock and roll music and rightly look like fools now.
We’re a better team with him in it. If we have a strong summer (and Woodward actually does his job for once) then I’d expect him to stay.

My worry is his good performance will inevitably attract Madrid. And when Zidane starts talking about how pogba is world class and how he would love to have him in madrid, will he stay focused and show the same commitment to United. Especially with that cunt of an agent whispering in his ears.
His antics before dont give me much confidence.

But not as much of a one as before because of Bruno.

If he wants to fully commit I’d love him to stay. If he’s going to flirt away again when it gets tough he can leave.
There’s no denying his ability nobody in the league has his range of passing. The way he fires them cross field balls is sublime.
I just hope he wants to dedicate his future to us. He would be daft to leave now.
I really liked what Keane said about him not wantin to be the main leader. I thought it was bang on. It takes a pressure off him and lets him play his game. At 27 he’s into his prime and he could be a monster for us.
Have to say ole has dealt with this situation exemplary

So it begins. Our summer would look a lot different and better if he left.

When we look back at this particular shit time in our history he will be up there with the glazers and Woodward.
The sooner they are all gone the better.

Fuck him off. Fed up of his constant shite.
Doesnt deserve an extension, has been embarrasing in the first few games. 5 seasons later and we're still asking the same questions.
Enough is enough now. Honestly think we'd be better off without him and wouldn't even notice much of a difference.

He should be the first one on Ole's list to be fucked off from this club next summer. Thinks too much of himself and hardly does anything on the pitch except the odd wow moment. To think DVB is on the bench so this clown can start. Show some balls Ole and drop him.
