Lancashire Senior Cup action tonight at Moss Lane Vs arch enemies Liverpool (who were the last team to beat the reserves and also the last team to score against them back on 17th september)

No real surprises, a weaker side than normal with the Carling Cup game less than 48hrs ago. Only 3 subs named with the academy out in Malta there wasn't anyone to step up to sit on the bench.
Liverpool look weak aswell remember there CC match was only last night though they have 5 named subs.

Where's Eikrem? He's bee brilliant for the Reserves so far, he's a key player.
Other than that its still quite strong a line up.

Not sure where he is tonight, thought he would have played as he wasn't played at Barnsley. Only other thing i can think off is he's in Malta with the academy, they haven't mentioned on MUTV that he's injured or anything so im not sure  |

He won't be with the Academy, hasn't played for them for a couple of years now. Strange one, he's been the play-maker for the last few games

Just spoke to the reserve team physio on MUTV and Magnus is fine, he isn't injured and is just being rested tonight.

That's still a pretty decent Utd side out. King, De Laet and Evans. Macheda on the bench with Matty James.

Tosic was brilliant tonight came on and completely changed the match. He had that quality chance against Barnsely, he scored tonight and I thought he looked decent during the preseason. I know a lot of people think that Tosic was a bit of a wasted signing but I still think this guys has a future with United even if it is only as a part time player.
