1 Robert GREEN 2 Glen JOHNSON 3 Leighton BAINES 4 Steven GERRARD 5 Rio FERDINAND (c) 6 Ledley KING 7 Theo WALCOTT 8 Michael CARRICK 9 Peter CROUCH 10 Wayne ROONEY 11 James MILNER
The announced team. England should win this but I'm looking forward to seeing Hernandez live for the first time. Looking at that England team I'd say we'd be buggered if we went into the world cup with that starting XI but obviously Capello is choosing to not risk some players like Terry or Cole.

WOW I forgot this was one, thanks for the reminder. I am really looking forward to seeing how Hernandez looks against high calibre opposition.

I don't think he's not 'risking' Cole or Terry. If anything Cashley only came back few weeks before season ended, so he's most definitely fresher than most. I think its more to test out King + Rio, a fit King is probably a better defender than Terry anyway. Seems to be he wants to have a check on our likely subs bench players.

Good to see Ledley King in that line up. He's a top player. Bit shit that he's had to suffer with injuries.
Hernandez is on the bench i hear

If he's on the bench he'll most likely come on at some point.
