Bad performance from England, but you cant take to much out of these friendly's just an indication of what players and formation to play etc. Good news about Hernandez cheers for the updates Chrisp.

Very impressive young player who will hopefully get a chance to shine in the red shirt of Manchester United.

Doesn't matter who he scores against, it is an encouraging sign for us. Let us hope he carries on this form either during the world cup against France of course, plus the new premier league season.

that link now has his 2nd goal on it as well if you haven't already seen. Well, for the goal against Gambia, he was in the right place at the right time. Let us hope he can adapt to the premier league much quicker than Dos Santos or Vela.

I want England to do well. It would be fantastic if England could go all the way and Ferdinand be the man to lift the cup. Before the Japan game I was getting excited, thinking this could seriously be England's year, but that first half performance, bloody hell guys, It was like watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre!
Looking at the groups and the knock-out stages, I'd love to see Vidic and Serbia qualify from their group, but I have a feeling Australia will join Germany in the knock-outs.
So...if England top the group, we play Australia. England finish runners up, we play ze Germans.
We just cannot afford to play like we did in the first half against Japan. If we do, I think it could be an early flight home.
