Im desperate for Carrick to go so hopefully he gets some sort of game time and does quite well, or Huddlestone fucks up because I stand by my opinion that he is awful...Why didn't Fergie give Hargreaves a chance to go to the World Cup. Bent is alright, but Heskey and Rooney are the best partnership so far i've seen. I don't get why we haven't seen many 4-5-1's for England, it would solve the Gerrard problem and there are no worthy strikers of partnering Rooney anyway so what's the point, the midfielders we have are far more capable.

hahhaha fuckin crap!
glenn johnsons defending is why we need red nev!
walcott is why beckham will be missed so much! second half get swp on just for his crossing
also on carrick and huddleston, huddleston has been 10times the player carrick was on monday night
he's broke up play, got stuck in, passed well, won tackles so at this moment id take him over carrick

Own Goal is doing it for the national team as well now. Cracking little player. Let's hope he's not a one season wonder for us.

Worth casting a glance to Mexico vs Gambia now for obvious reasons if you're as bored as I am.

Wasn't really convinced by the England team today. Johnson and Cole were good attacking, but unfortunately, it left us exposed at the back and luckily, it was only Japan, and not great counter-attacking sides. Lampard was ok, but he really needs to change his technique when taking penalties. Wazza was just ok, kept on dropping very deep thus leaving us with Darren Bent up front who was useless.
All in all, I think we should have at least the dipper on the left-side, Rooney up front on his own with Crouch just behind as this seems to work. Need to fix the problem with Walcott too.

I think we looked much better with Joe Cole at the front of a 4-5-1/4-3-3, his link up play was really good and I really would like us to sign him.

Everyone seems to be getting into WC fever now, I simply couldn't care. I just hope England don't win it, it's a predictable end in tears type script anyway. It's not sour grapes I just hope we can continue to sing:" world champions twice, world champions twiiiiiiiicce, one more than England, world champions twice!"

scrap that as Hernandez made up by scoring afterwards but I missed it.
Seen the replay now, he picked up a back pass like Rooney's vs Porto, but a nice finish between the keepers legs.

How are you watching it? And how bad was the one he missed?

i'll pm you it, basically he was following in a spilled free kick that was a little wide of the goal next to the keeper, he got there quick enough and tried to turn and side foot it with his right when it made more sense to hit it with his left, anyway he just missed the ball completely.

Scored again and was substituted in about the 55th minute. 7 goals in 11 appearances for national team now.
