Now Rio's out, who do you think should start alongside that cunt Terry?
For me, Its got to be Ledley King. He's quality as long as he stays fit. Carragher is slow as fook, Upson has had a poor season and Dawson doesn't have the experience (although i must admit, I think he's a decent defender)

King for me, and is he's unfit or Terry's being shit bring in Dawson. Only defenders good enough for a team some people think can win it.

Hope it's Ledley King and he has a fucking stormer, dunno why I feel pro-King inclined. Doing some mathematical deductions it's now Wazza who's gonna have to play the traditional United role of the Ingurland scapegoat. Wish it was Rio as personally I think he's a bit of a cunt really.

I'd bring in Dawson now. The friendly and games against Algeria, Slovenia and the US would give him time to be in. I picked him ahead of King because I can't see Ledley lasting the whole tournament and if I'm right no-one would want to see the changes in the knock-out phase.

Pretty good point made about the changements. We need to have the same players in the first two matches, should we win them, then we can replace them in the 3rd match as it would be a pointless exercise to not give them 90 minutes playing time. Like you, I cannot see King playing high-profile games due to his knees. I am pretty certain we are going to see Glen Johnson, Jamie Carragher, John Terry and Ashley Cole, so, we have half of a Liverpool defence in the world cup, great!!!!!!! That will be our weakness I'm afraid. |
