Anyway, your next starting eleven should look like this (injuries or no inuries): James Johnson Terry Upson A. Cole Barry Lennon Lampard J. Cole Gerrard Rooney If you´d like I could take over from Fabio for the remaining fixtures, too bad you can´t change the 23 man squad anymore. Because there cartainly would be no room for Crouchie, Carragher or Ledley Knees in my England team.

Apart from one run into the box that was absolutely brilliant, the rest was absolute rubbish. Johnson was good, but I hope he remains focussed on his own job rather than trying to score or attack at every opportunity, because I can only see tears for the England team because he will be leaving Dawson exposed.

What is it with this Dawson business. He is the most untested of your players at this level? Why not use Upson like you have so many times before. The inclusion of Carragher is the most interesting question, since you already had King, Terry, Upson and now also Dawson. Why not bring Wes in? I know were prob all wondering about the sme thing. If Fabio would´ve wanted experienced cover on the right and in the center wes seems the only logical deputy? Nad before the team flew to SA there was no way anyone would have seen Rio getting injured just before the start. You have to question your managers logic in some of these last minute call ups.

Agreed, Wes is a versatile player, even if he does play a few games here and there, he has the experience in big games which counts. As for Carragher, no comment there to make because he is just an idiot.
As for Capello, no comment, got everything wrong last night. We have seen many times where he has taken Gerrard off, and when he has been replaced, England performed a great deal better.

Did feel a bit like same old England. something i was worried about when Barry got injured. That said our play wasn't atrocious, there was some decent passing going on. SWP on left seemed a pointless change, surprised it wasn't Cole brought on. Milners inexperience at this level shone out, which was a shame, he deserved a chance but 2 mistimed sliding tackles on the half way line are just pointless. I'd rather see a 4-3-3 with Rooney up front alone. He doesn't need a Heskey alongside him anymore and i'd rather be bossing the midfield better than hoping someone latches onto a Heskey lay off. Disturbed by the defense, very worried about King. If he's done himself in we either have no pace Carragher or no experience Dawson. If king is indeed out, i'd rather see Dawson get a run out against Algeria or Slovenia. i wont slate Cappello, I felt his hand was forced somewhat on the team selection and 2 of the subs. The next 2 games will tell though. maybe its more of a case of nigeria not being good enough to mark him out of the game. If it wasn't for there goalie he'd of had a hattrick. No offence but he's already the best player ive saw so far in this tournament. Ronaldo never does it for portugal and i doubt that will change in this world cup. Rooney will not have an impact in this tournament unless england sort there midfield out and get gerrard up alongside him. For the first time ever i doubt capellos capablities to make the big decisions required,

Carragher was embarassed by a fast striker?!?!? Shock.
What did Capello expect, Carragher was getting beaten for pace 5 years ago at his 'peak'.
Heskey summed up his own career in one match, held the ball up okay and when it came to the crunch, fluffed a good chance.
Lennon and Wright-Phillips are like the fast kids at school, they just run and run and run and run. But nothing else.
Casillas was right about our Goalies, they're all average, but Hart has time on his side so throw him in.
And seriously, the moment we play a top 10 team we risk embarrassment because we just can't keep possession. I only watched the first half in full, and only once did we successfully complete 5 passes in their half, and even then wright phillips rushed a shit shot.
If you play a drinking game where you take a shot every time we complete 5 passes in their half you're gonna be too sober to watch an entire England match. Do the same with Spain and you'll be pissed within 3 minutes.

Why isn´t Upson even mentioned here?! He is in the squad right, and a better player than Dawson by a mile or so.

How about a diamond in midfield.. Joe Cole is not an orthodox winger and based on yesterday's performance, Lennon's final delivery is gonna be it hit and miss. The fullbacks can provide the width and a Defoe-Rooney strike partnership could prove fruitful.. It's far from ideal but a whole lot better than midfield pairing..
---------------Hart------------
Glen Rat Dawson Cashley
-----------Barry/Carrick-----------
---------Lamp--------Cole----------
---------------Stevie------------
--------Rooney------Defoe-------
I guess it's only a minor improvement but atleast England might actually start playing some football instead of the pathetic, route 1 stuff.. The best formation would be a 4-2-3-1 with Gerrard in his natural position which am pretty sure Don Fab is not even gonna contemplate..
England's priority would be to finish top of their group failing which, they are doomed. They are drawn to play a team from Group D and finishing second would almost certainly mean playing Germany in R16.. As a matter of fact, if Capello doesn't get the tactics right, they are doomed anyway..
PS: Someone care to explain Capello's reaction after England scored ?

The problem is, for all the talk about giving Hart a chance, and Dawson and dropping Lumplard or Cuntard and such, no manager has the balls as they are all worried about being crucified by the media. Hence that for all the talk about not picking players on reputation and such, Capello has played it safe.
I can only assume that Milner was taken off cos his tackling made Scholes look good and not because he was sick, cos if it was because of the illness then what the fuck was he doing starting?? what a waste of a sub! Especially when the replacement is Shite-Phillips - thats going from bad to worse! Same goes for King. Hes nothing special compared to the other options and if he constantly has to be replaced at half time then theres another waste of a sub. Dawson or Upson can do just as good a job. What would have happened if Terry and someone else got injured early in the 2nd half? We only had one sub left so would have had to have played with 10 men.
England should beat Algeria and Slovenia comfortably, neither team has impressed today.

This match has been as interesting as me getting cut when doing the dishes at the same time. This is premature, I know, but the quality of football during these first three days has been POOR to say the least. Not much of the joga bonita being on display in the tournament so far. The first game was all right but it´s been downhill since. The Algerian goalie saved this one though, cheers there mate! And these fucking horns are driving me crazy. That fucking noise and you´re hungover. Fucking torture!!! I hear the french federation are the first to file a complaint over them. Fifa are considering banning them inside the stadiums if enough federations or major television companies make complaints. Thank the fuck, please ban them!!!

Serbia Ghana up next and my boy Vidic! I love watching United players in the World cup. I'd have no interest in this game normally, although I'd still watch it. Vidic missed the last World cup through injury so good to see him involved this time around.
Italia 90 had the worst goals ratio of all the World cups that have been completed, but so far, this is now the worst. Oh dear! Still, only 2 days have gone. Looking forward to Brazil and Spain starting. Not so much Italy who tend to bore me a little.
